Collectors Set- Family Heirloom Four Poster Bed& Nightstand has been in one family since the 1930's and may predate that time. Handled gently. The Thomasville Emblem can be found inside nightstand drawer. The model number stamped on the back of each piece is L-553. The wood is in amazing condition and has never been refinished. Some surfaces show scratches on the top and could use smoothing and refinishing but overall the pieces are truly gorgeous. Four post bed has discoloration at bottom of a couple posts which you can see in the photo and an area on the headboard has lost shine. This gorgeous bed is in a dark, rich reddish brown deep color that really brings out the grains of the mahogany used on this stylish Sheraton style bed. The unusual thing about this bed is that it has a mahogany shield on the footboard and the headboard. It has slip-in rails and is all tight and sturdy. The outside dimensions are 57 inches wide, 55 inches high on the footboard posts, 40 inches on the footboard shield, 56 inches on the headboard, and 46.5 inches high on the shield. The inside dimensions are 54.5 x 75, which will take a modern day full-size box springs and mattress. There are only minor nicks and dings, and the bed is all ready to go in the home. Antique Unbelievable Carved Full Double Pineapple Four Poster Bed Post Frame
Up for sale is an antique full/double sized Mahogany Pineapple post bed frame. The frame is in good shape but is in need of some TLC. The frame has some condition issues. Namely finish problems and marks, scratches but it is still a gorgeous frame. Chip in one of the pineapple's leaves. I photographed it copiously so you can see the details. The detailed worked posts are quite a unique feature. I am not able to identify the wood definitively but it is my guess that the main body of the headboard and footboard are mahogany veneer. The posts are likely solid since it would be near impossible to veneer them. The beams also appear to be veneered. The beam has a veneer that has chipped at the end. The frame weighs a hefty amount and is stunning. Again please see pictures as they more accurately and easily describe the condition than I can ... moredo in writing. Comes with headboard. Footboard, two side beams/rails and hardware. Posts measure 64 inches in height, beams/rails measure 76 inches in length and the headboard/footboard measure approximately 60 inches across. Beautiful 4 poster antique bed, carpenters dream
Absolutely beautiful 4 poster bed. Deep rich color with classic spindle carving. Side boards were screwed down for extra stability. Headboard has scroll and point detail with pretty carving. Footboard is simple with paneled styling. The tall spindles were taken off and reassembled by a carpenter. He made a wooden dowel so the bed can easily go up staircases. The headboard had the side taken off to go up and down the stairs. Wood glue for assembly. You will love climbing into this fabulous bed! 83" wide. 88" long, 87" floor to top of spindle. I believe the wood is cherry, but I am not certain. From a smoke free home. Pick up only in NJ.

Antique English Four Poster Bed in Cherrywood Full Size, Circa 1920-30's NICE
You are bidding on a 1930’s-40’s Full Size Four Poster Bed. Headboard, Footboard. These pieces belonged to my grandmother. I have been using these pieces myself until recently downsizing and redecorating. The finish of the headboard and footboard are the original. I am not sure of the wood description. I would say that it is either mahogany or cherry wood. The Headboard has some flaws on the insides of the legs(splintering) and some engineering has been put into place to hold the sideboard to the insides of the headboard with hardware to help with making it strong to hold mattress in place. I’m sure it can be repaired correctly. But my husband came up with this solution. This is pointed out in the photos. There are 6 slats to hold mattress. The footboard is in good shape. The headboard is 58 inches wide. The posters are 68 inches tall. The ... moreheight of the headboard to top of pediment is 46 inches. The footboard is 32 inches high. Solid Mahogany Four Poster bed- Full Size beautiful rich tones This is a truly beautiful bed that sits high. There are Pineapples on all four posters and this is a very solid bed. There seems to be a wooded cog-like wheels where the running boards intersect. The wood is nearly 2 inches thick around the standard boards. Thicker elsewhere. Please review the photo carefully this is an old bed and wear and tear is present on the wood. Mainly indentations and scratches, every other aspect is in working order. The 4 poster's are almost 5 ft. high. The block's on bottom are 4" square and headboard is 1 1/4" Thick and 51" X 25" solid wood piece. The base piece is a solid bar/board made of 1 7/8" thick on headboard and footboard. The Dresser is 36" high X 24" Deep X 54" Wide. Same. Matching wood and very solid, needs new drawer pulls, the original one's have broken, see pictures. This Dresser is approximately 95 years old. Notice that on the inside where the bolts go in to tighten pieces together have broken.
