The upholstery has been professionally replaced in a heavy quality white(cotton with a satin finish) fabric with flower embroidery in light blue. Light coral and yellow with light green foliage. Though it does not meet current standards. I have tried to research this bedframe so I could list it here on Ebay. But could not find anything close to it. Gorgeous Eastlake style full bed from the 19th century. We found this behind a wall when we were renovating a house about ten years ago. The faux painting is in marvelous condition. I think because it was hidden away from the light for so many years(we owned the house for forty years and didn't know it was there. There is a headboard, foot board, and side rails all with that artistic faux painted finish in excellent condition. However, as I tried to shown in the photos the footboard was broken at some pointbefore it was put away behind ... morethat wall in the house. You are bidding on a pair of antique iron bed rails. These rails have rectangular shaped. Tapered drop in end pins. The rails have had the remnants of the old finish removed, along with the corrosion. They then were primered and painted with a good quality flat white paint. They each measure 74" long overall including the pins. The drop-in pins, are ¾" long, 7/8" wide at the top. Tapering to ¾" wide at the bottom. They weigh 8 pounds each unpackaged. The original paint has held up very well but has small chips consistent with age as expected for an antique approximately 100 years old. Very cute original 40 or 50s hand painted western theme bedroom set. It includes a double bed frame- hand painted headboard. Footboard and rails, a hand painted, tall, four drawer dresser, a detachable hand painted mirror which can go on either the vanity or dresser, a side table, a bench and a desk/vanity. Newspaper liner in drawer dates to 1967. Stamped"Pederson's Santa Rosa" on back of dresser. There is a substantial stain on the top of dresser and one knob is missing from the vanity.
