There are some cracking of the wood from age, and scratches which would be expected. I took a lot of pictures so that you can see the detail. Bed comes with the footboard. Head board, rope, and two rails. The headboard, and footboard have small metal wheels. I used a bathroom scale to weigh each piece there are four. Head and foot board which are 45lb ea and two rails which weighed 20 lb's ea I figure the total weight to be around 130 lbs The Headboard and footboards are 56" wide. Willett Cherry Rope Bed and Mirror Dresser Only
These pieces of American History are 2 of the Cherry Rope Motif Bedroom set made by the Willett Brothers of Kentucky. They stopped making this great furniture in the early 60s. I am sadly selling these to hopefully someone who appreciates where they came from. The bed and mirror dresser are the only two pieces being sold.

THIS 3/4 SIZE ALL ORIGINAL ROPE BED IS HEAVY DUTY AND SOLID. SPINDLES RANGE FROM 3-5" THICKNESS. RAILS HAVE ROPE KNOBS AND ARE SOLID WOOD CARVED/ SCREW IN ENDS THAT SECURE DIRECTLY INTO HEAD AND FOOT BOARD. OVERALL DIMENSIONS ARE HEADBOARD- 60" T POSTS& 50" H RAILS.FOOTBOARD- 60" T POSTS& 44" RAILS. WIDTH OF BED IS 54 3/4" Overall condition is excellent for the age(circa 1900- 1910. Dimensions: 73 1/4" long from tip to tip. Length not including pins is 71 1/2" 3 7/8" tall x 3 1/2" wide or thick. The pins are 3 1/4" tall, 15/16" wide x 7/8" long. Shipping weight is apx 25lbs.
