This is for a very rare and very hard to find solid wood antique spindle bed. Wheels on the bottom with cast iron. Heavy side rails. This is an antique twin bed. Normal surface wear. Small dent on the headboard, see photo, it can be repaired. This bed is gorgeous a one-of-a-kind and very, very hard to find. Rails no longer have the screws or bolts to attached, but they can be purchased and installed separately. We are selling the footboard. The headboard and the two side rails. Measures: Headboard- 48" tall x 36" wide x 2" deep. Footboard- 41" tall x 36" wide x 2" deep. The iron rails measure 75 1/4" long and when assembled it will sit 11" up from the floor. We hand painted and updated the wood with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. We combined Antoinette with coco for a muted, dusty pink shaded finish.hard to describe but beautifully aged piece. Distressed in all the right spots, purposefully left some wood showing here and there, especially on the carved flower sections. The head board is bowed or curved on sides for an elegant touch. The rails are original and fit nicely. The footboard has a carved wreath in the center that has been repaired/reglued as it cracked at side wreath section. Good repair but a little tiny bit wobbly.
