The footboard has a split on the left side where the center panel meets the post. The dresser has 2 small glove boxes and 3 larger dresser drawers and they all have dovetail joints. There is a nice cheval mirror on top of the dresser with a finial on top of it. The top of the dresser is showing some ware. There are a couple of scuffs and one spot. Overall this set is in good condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This set is antique and will not be perfect. The dresser measures 42 inches tall. 42 inches side to side and 23 inches front to back. It weighs 116 pounds. The headboard measures 58 inches tall, 58 inches side to side and 2 inches thick. But you should be able to find some rails to match. This bed is an original Simmons production from the early 1900's. The headboard measures 54" wide and 52" high. The footboard measures 54" wide and is 34" high. The footboard is on casters. When I found this item at an estate auction it was very dirty and really showed its age. I cleaned the surface with some basic soap and water and ketchup and this helped restore some of the beauty. I'm sure you could use some more quality cleaners and restore to it's original beauty. The bed foot board, the chest, and the dresser all have a really nice raised check detail which shows off the craftsmanship of the set. Beautiful Antique 1920's Bedroom Set. Headboard and curved footboard with Dresser and Mirror. Mirror detaches. The photograph of headboard and footboard has another footboard in between them that belongs to my bed that I'm using. I just didn't move it out of the way. This is a vintage/antique Maple Full Side Bed. It consist of the headboard. Footboard and two side boards. It is a very simple design in a light finish. This bed was used in our summer home and was stored since the late 80's. The bed will require a little re-enforcing on the headboard, as it appears to need it. It can get used as is or refinished to give it new life. It may have had slats that went across the side boards to support the mattress, but I'm not 100% sure(I can't remember) however, those slats are not present, so if needed you will have to get wood and cut to fit.
