These beds are ready to be ... moreused. MEASUREMENTS: The beds are 80 inches long 42 inches wide at the headboard and 40 inches wide at the footboard. The headboard is 64 inches tall including the crown the footboard is 30 inches tall. The mattresses are 73.5 inches long and 34.5 inches wide. LET’S TALK CONDITION: Excellent condition for the age. Much better than what is typically found beds of this type and era, ready to use very clean and with a wonderful patina to the wood. With the original slats, no replacement wood no discoloration no significant or structural damage. The head side of the rails on each bed have a missing part of the decorative designee and the other rail with one intact and one repaired(see the third photo) One of the footboards has chips on the base of the columns(see last photo) and this footboard also has some loose joints giving it some slight pay, less than typical for antique bedframes. Please see the extreme close-up photos in the gallery view at the top of the listing page to view all the details. As always. Antique / Vintage White Steel & Cast Iron Bed Frame - Full Size - Local Pickup
This is a used Antique/ Vintage White Cast Iron and Steel Bed Frame– Full Size. The bed appears to have the original paint. It does not look like it was ever repainted. The tubes are made of steel. The connecting pieces are made of Cast Iron. The decorative pieces that connect the smaller tubes are made of cast iron. The side rails have a tapered slot that holds them in place tightly. The bed is ding. Chipped, scratched, and scuffed. The frame measures outside 80 ¾ inches by 54 ½ inches. The inside frame measurement is 76 inches by 53 inches. The headboard frame is 50 inches tall. The footboard frame is 31 ½ inches. The tube are open on the feet. The bedframe is available for local pick-up in Cambridge. Maryland. Thanks for Looking.

Antique/ Vintage Brass Steel Full Size Bed. Included is the Headboard. Footboard, Steel Frame and Wooden Slats. The Wooden Slats are not original. If desired, the mattress that is on the bed now can be included. The highest point of the headboard is 59 inches tall. The highest point of the footboard is 49 inches tall. The widest part of the footboard is 55.5 inches tall. Some of the outer paint is coming off on certain parts of the bed. It would be a great project for someone to refinish it! Replacement Brass Bed Rails Steel Antique Bed Irons Parts Oval Pin 73" Twin Full
Here are two antique brass bed rails made of steel and iron. From tip to tip(of pins)they measure 73 1/8" The spherical/ Oval tapered end or slip Pin/ latch/ hook is 1 3/4" tall the largest top is 7/8" diameter the bottom diameter is 5/8" These went into 2" drop down corner pieces which we also have listed. We also have the head and foot board pieces which are not listed but can be if you are interested. These are rails are a pretty standard style and size but feel free to ask questions. Now These do show some signs of age and wear in keeping with there age- they were also painted at some point. maybe original. Unlike modern rails these set with the a flat top up unlike modern bed which have the inner angle up. So. Box spring length does not have to be inset with in the exact measurements- the bed sits atop the angles ... moreand the rails. These are are meant to fit a twin or full length mattress. These are precarious to ship so just expect a kind of makeshift saran clad quasi package- there is no easy or conventional way to pack these. They will be shipped UPS with a calculated shipping cost. Vintage Antique Full Size Iron Steel Barcalo Bed Headboard Footboard Rails&Slats
I inherited this full size bed around 1987 from a friend who I have lost contact with so I can not give the exacts on when this bed was purchased or manufactured. My research shows that the bed is a Barcalo bed. Style# 2732 which originally had a walnut finish on it and possibly made as early as 1928. The headboard and footboard are hollow. When I took procession of the bed it had a gold painted finish on it. I altered the appearance slightly by slapping on some brown and black paint on the footboard and headboard to give it a distressed look. The headboard and footboard have moved four times since then so in places the two layers of paint have rubbed down to the original steel finish(I’m assuming it’s steel since a magnet sticks to it) There is one rubber slide. So you will need 3 additional to protect your floors. If you like the distressed ... morelook. New paint can be easily applied or if you want to start fresh from the original steel, the paint comes off very easily by lightly rubbing with a paper towel and Goof-off. There is no rust on the any of the pieces and there are no dents. The original metal has a very light grey appearance as shown with the color swatch and also in one of the images showing the grey steel marked#5 I'm offering FedEx Ground and US Parcel Select.
