This baby crib is in USED condition and does show signs of aging. This crib features four metal panel inserts. Which are fitted and inserted between the slats rods on each of the four sides of the crib. The metal panel inserts are possibly made out of tin and feature a open hole design that consists of larger holes and smaller holes. There are 4 wheels that are on the bottom of the crib and they roll with ease. Please keep in mind, when bidding, that this item is a LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! The winning bidder/buyer will have to come and pick it up! Due to the age of this baby crib and condition of this antique crib, it would be very difficult to ... moreship it, so picking it up locally would be the best option. We do NOT deliver items! The crib has slat rods loose on ONE of the longer sides of the crib. There are 6 loose at the tops and 6 loose at the bottom. There is also a cracked area on on of the slat rods. Where the tin panel slides in. Not sure if the treading on the wheels is made out of rubber, but the treading has hardened and is missing on the wheels, due to apparent aging. There is also dings on the tread portions of the wheels, but no damage that would impair the movement of the wheels. The metal body and spokes of the wheels have rusted due to changes in the environment which it was stored over the years. None of the wheels are rusted completely into. As it is mainly surface rust. The wheels move smoothly without any issues. There is also some paint scuffs on the center caps of some of the wheels. The metal insert panels appear to have some of the smaller holes semi-filled. I am not sure if at some point during it lifetime that someone had previously painted the panels or if the panels were made painted. This is a used Antique/ Vintage White Cast Iron and Steel Bed Frame– Full Size. The bed appears to have the original paint. It does not look like it was ever repainted. The tubes are made of steel. The connecting pieces are made of Cast Iron. The decorative pieces that connect the smaller tubes are made of cast iron. The side rails have a tapered slot that holds them in place tightly. The bed is ding. Chipped, scratched, and scuffed. The frame measures outside 80 ¾ inches by 54 ½ inches. The inside frame measurement is 76 inches by 53 inches. The headboard frame is 50 inches tall. I don’t know the age of the bed or what kind of wood it is. It’s in nice condition. The casters that it’s sitting on do not snap into place. They’re not the proper casters.
