Even the sides of dresser and armoire are hand painted with scenes I think it is 1900's but could be earlier. I bought it 10 years ago and it was described as French cream and brown. I am only giving it up as I have inherited a family bedroom suite and need the room. Beautiful brass ornate pulls(all there) Glass tops are on dresser and nite stands as well as vanity all there. Dresser is 50 inches wide and has mirror 46 inches wide small thin piece of trim on front of dresser is missing but is easily replaced Armoire is 37 inches wide and 79 inches tall the original key is still with it The armoire door is not latching but would be easy to fix. I show a picture of the inside of the armoire, there is a rod inside of armoire with a small drawer. The vanity is 42 inches wide with matching ornate mirror and drawer. The 2 nightstands both have a door that opens for storage they are 22" wide. The bed head board is adorned with flowers has a small area of paint missing. Bed is 67 inches across and 58 inches tall. It would easily accommodate a 3/4 full or queen mattress. There is not a footboard or side rails it was not made for them. The mattress set pictured is a queen select comfort but is not included with the set Let me know if you have questions or need more pictures so that you can see the conditon of this set. You can pick up the set in zanesville ohio. If you cannot pick up I can work with the company that you choose to pack and ship the items. Deal of the month- Check out this Mid Century Art Deco 4 Poster Bedroom Suite. The bed is a rare waterfall 4 Poster full size bed. The headboard and footboard are original but I think the steel rails replaced wooded one that probably came with the original set. This set has the chest of drawers and vanity with all matching pulls with bakelight accents. Some of the bakelite edges are scuffed or chipped. For its age this set is in remarkable condition. Some chips on the edges and below normal wear and tear. The vanity has three mirrors on the back that are beveled and etched. Only a few minor blemishes. Beautiful cherry-finish antique bed and vanity. Late 1930's to early 1940's manufacture. Very sturdy. Not rickety. Full-sized bed(sometimes called double bed) Ideal for a smaller guest room. Comes from a non-smoking home! Bed is shown with a very thick mattress(14" NOT included) in first picture. The very thick mattress hides part of the headboard. Bed and vanity show the usual light age marks. But everything is in very excellent condition, considering the pieces are about 75 years old. There is a non-structural split(appearance only) on the edge of the baseboard of the bed, which was repaired. The two wooden bed rails are not original to the bed. This is my great grandfathers and grandmothers bedroom set. It is from the late 20s. The dresser and vanity are in nice shape. There is a tiny bit of trim missing from the top right corner of the vanity. You can see it in the pictures. The full size bed holds a queen size mattress. As I show in my pictures. There is some water damage to the left front footboard, as you can see in the pictures, the veneer is lifting off a bit. A good wood person could repair this. There you go. 1942 ART DECO WATERFALL LANE Bedroom Set Full Dresser Vanity Cedar Hope Chest
This is a gorgeous. Hard to find bedroom set from Jan 1942. Full size bed frame includes head and foot board and slats. Tallboy dresser with corner trays in top drawer in each corner, vanity with mirror and chair(mirror became detached from it's frame when I hauled it home, just needs a couple new clips) cedar chest aka hope chest is beautiful, has felt lined shelf, working lock and key. Dove tail construction on all pieces. Minor wear as would be expected in furniture of this age. There is chipping of the veneer on the front bottom of the cedar chest in one spot. Maybe form shoes bumping into it. I took pictures of it. This is the worst that I saw, other than some minor dings or scratches, again, common in furniture of this age. Excellent shape overall. Antique Bedroom Set 1920's W/ Bed, Mattress, Quilt, Vanity, Seat & Mirror
I have had this set for a long long time. I moved to a smaller home and no longer need it. Its from the 1920's its Mahogany and has decorative flowers on the front of bed. And vanity, and it is the whole bed on wooden rollers, frame, nice mattress full size name brand more of a firm mattress with box springs, comes with white quilt thats beautiful and 2 matching pillows, also 2 more white shams I will throw in(some are shown in the photos) The mattress is a Serta perfect sleeper beautiful shape hardly slept on. Nice! It also comes with matching vanity and mirror with pull out large drawer inside the drawer are wood dividers. The vanity has some scratches and surface scuffs on the top from things being sat on it, this piece hasn't been touched, since I have owned it for 20 years. The seat that matches it has a cushion to sit on in ... morefront of the vanity. There are scratches on the piece but nothing too major its old. The mirror has been taken off, and the screws are missing for the mirror the side pieces that hold it on are lose, so I removed the mirror it can be put back on it is missing a hook almost like a hinge(a metal rectangular piece) to attach it on(I lost it in a move somehow but it can be fixed, it still looks great even with the mirror detached) but for now the mirror is detached, the mirror glass is not broken or cracked it shows discoloration in some parts. The Bed frame is nice. It is sturdy you can sleep in this bed comfortably. There are scratches on these pieces it is old. Thanks for looking. Antique waterfall deco bedroom set w/ armoire, vanity, bed, dresser, and chairs
Included in this set is a full size bed with headboard and footboard and sideboards and slats; a vanity with mirror and 2 drawers on each side and a glass shelf(intact) 3(deep) drawer dresser with mirror; large armoire with 4 drawers and a cedar-lined closet section. And 2 chairs- one with arms and one without. This is a solid and beautiful set purchased in the 30's by my grandparents. This set has been used and shows signs of normal use and wear. Main items to note: there are some scratches on the tops of the pieces. On the dresser there is an area of chips on one of the drawers(the bottom drawer of the dresser sticks a bit which caused it to rub the drawer above it) one of the handles on the armoire's drawers is broken, and one of the legs with casters on the underside of the armoire needs to be reattached. Gorgeous estate find! Waterfall style set that needs some refinishing and touching up. There are lots of nicks. Spots, wear, and chipped laminate throughout the set that needs some TLC. The footboard of the bed needs to be re-secured/attached to the posts. It has a slot end that fits into the hole on the post and might just need some wood glue. There are rollers on the bottom of the pieces that are missing but can be easily replaced. The drawers are dovetailed and the mirror to the vanity is original. 1930's dark wood bedroom set dresser/cheval mirror vanity/trifold mirror bed
Three piece bedroom set from the 1930s if not earlier. This set was in my Grandma's house when she bought it in the early 1930s. The set includes a large bureau/dresser with cheval mirror. The mirror is in great shape- really not much discoloration to the glass if any. All original knobs and hardware. I do not have the wheels. However, for the dresser. It was once refinished 40 years ago.There is some surface damage. The vanity also has all original hardware and a trifold/triple mirror. It has the original wooden casters/wheels. It has never been refinished. There is surface damage. The mirror has lots of"character" in the glass. The bed is a double bed with a wrap-around foot board. Carl Bissman was an architect who designed many homes. Built homes, had a real estate company in the 30s/40s. WWII led him to stop the home business and he got into designing furniture in Springfield, MO. His furniture was modern/danish in it's style, made of walnut often. If you check on ebay for similar items they start at 500.00 and go to 2000.00 for just one peice. This is for 4 items unrestored and in good condition. They do show some wear but function perfectly. The Vanity measures 58" long 18.5" deep and 25" tall. It has 6 drawers 3 on each side. It has a glass top 10" x 27" The mirror is huge and measures 46" x 39.5" The mirror is not original it is dated 1967 the mirror frame is original. The stool is orignal. Not sure if it has been recovered but my best guess is it hasnt. I havent seen another like this peice. The night stand(compare at 995.00) measures 25 x 15.5 x 13.5, On top is a line. I dont believe it is a split its more like a scratch. Then there is the 4 drawers dresser. It has some wear on the corner with the original color showing through. This is a very well built set from solid walnut. Every other peice I have seen has been restored and does not have this light finish it it. Waterfall Inlaid Bedroom Set. Head & Footboard. Dresser, Mirrors, Vanity & Chair
Fair to good condition vintage Waterfall bedroom set. The veneer on these pieces is inlaid with solid wood framing. 3 drawer dresser is 19" by 37" by 41" with a 38" by 44" mirror. All of the drawers on both pieces slide smoothly and easily. The bed has head and footboard and is a double bed- no rails. The vanity chair is 28" by 19" by 17" and the vanity is 18" by 46" by 31" with a 30" by 34" mirror. The vanity veneer is in poor condition but otherwise the piece is solid. The vanity chair needs recovered and is on good condition. There are a few places of wear or scrapes on these pieces but it is a nice set overall and should be relatively easy to make into a beautiful set. All pieces are structurally sound. Sorry. 6 piece hand painted chippendale style bedroom set early 1940 bed vanity dresser
6-piece hand painted chippendale style bedroom set early from early 1940. With ball and claw feet. full size(double) bed frame(head board and foot board) vanity, vanity bench, dresser, night stand, and chair. This bedroom set has been extremely well cared for. Glass tops on Chest of drawers and vanity are in mint condition. The night stand glass top has light clouding in the center(approx 4" circle) it disappears with a handkerchief placed under the glass. an 8" plastic doily had been under the glass. And a residue is felt, but not visible. There is some light scuffing of the trim paint on the vanity. Dresser, and night stand. There is also some light scuffing on the top curvy part of the legs. The vanity top edge shows a little wear that is consistent with it's age. This was purchased new in the summer of 1940 by my Great Grandparents ... moreand was the bedroom set from their guest bedroom in San Leandro. CA. drawers are dovetailed. Wooden knobs. Original chair upholstery material. original finish. Appearance is very reminiscent of a Disney fairy tale or storybook style. Sorry about the pictures. This set is much more beautiful than the pictures show. I believe the set was made in the 1930' s or 40's. I was told it was custom made. I have owned the set for about 25 years. It has been in a guest bedroom. The mattress and box springs on one bed is still in the plastic. The other box springs and mattress set are new. It is a one of a kind set. I could not get a good picture of the headboards. But they are like the footboards in picture 2.
