This antique bed certainly looks the part, and while it is in overall good condition, it does have a few items worth mentioning. The paint is flaking(see photos) and there is some surface rust, though this is nothing that will affect the display quality or functionality of the bed itself. At some point in its long history. The brass top bar was lost from the footboard. This again does not affect the stability of the bed. We have assembled it for show on several occasions, and all the parts fit perfectly and without the use of bolts or screws(again see photos) This, combined with the attached metal wheels, makes it easy to move around and store as well. The bed measures 79 inches long and 53 3/4 inches wide. With the actual bed frame coming out at 79 inches long, 54 1/2 inches wide, and 52 inches tall to the bed knob. We are pleased to present this antique bed frame. Acquired from a generations-owned family estate out of Montana. From what we were told, it has been in the same family all this time. This antique bed certainly looks the part, and while it is in overall good condition, it does have a few items worth mentioning. The paint is flaking(see photos) and there is some surface rust, though this is nothing that will affect the display quality or functionality of the bed itself. At some point in its long history. The brass top bar was lost from the footboard. This again does not affect the stability of the bed. Cast Iron Twin Size Bed chic & shabby Gr8 shape Straight Antique original paint
This bed has been the property of a single family for many generations. It is quite the amazing piece as even the white paint is all original to the date of manufacture. There is one noticeable bend in the thin iron of the foot-board. As you can see in the photos. I am positive that it would take no more than a strong arm to bend it back into shape. I can't find any more defects on the piece. But it is being sold as-is with no warranty due sole to the age of the bed. This lovely antique twin bed was crafted around 1940. Although I know it to be American. Its specific origin is unknown to me. I purchased it at a local antique dealer for $300 and have since touched up a number of scuffs and some wear to the finish, so it is in better condition than when I found it. This bed is quite attractive, with distinctive"acorn" style posts, but it has sustained some superficial wear, including a number of scuffs and, on one side of the support, some wear to the finish that clearly occurred during a restoration that was carried out prior to my ownership. Stunning antique half tester bed. This bed is one beautiful piece of antique art! This bed has a low reserve for a bed bed with this amount of character! It has beautifully detailed hand carved accents throughout and is breathtaking to see. It measures approximately 83" long x 45" wide x 88" tall. Twin size bed. I acquired this bed from two gentlemen that purchased a storage unit in San Antonio that was full of antiques. So I do not have a history on the bed. I have seen no marking that I can make out to tell me anything further on the bed, either. The bed seems to be structurally in very good condition. The top of the canopy is leaning forward and need to have the arms of the inner post made larger for a tighter fit or shimmed a little to hold it more upright. I currently have a temporary shim and the top seems to have a slight ... moretwist from the top leaning forward, meaning one post seems to be leaning forward slightly more than the other. The bed has a couple of tiny chips, rubs and few scratches. The bed also will come with a set of mattress and box springs that are(new in plastic) they have been preowned and sanitized with new covers put on, they are tagged as such by federal standards and meet those standards with professional cleaning and inspection. Antique Georgetown Galleries solid mahogany twin bed circa 1930's. This unique piece includes carved wrap around foot board. Headboard, original side rails and original wood slats. Beautiful attention to detail in the design. Piece retains it's original finish. The headboard and foot board do have some minor scratches and there is some raising of the original varnish in spots. This is a heavy bed& I would estimate all four pieces to weigh 100 to 125 pounds. This bed appears to be beautifully aligned rosewood veneers with the posts being solid rosewood. Not sure of exact age but believe it is from early 1900's. The bed is in good condition overall. On the footboard. The first picture of an unmade bed is of the one I am selling. This shabby chic Jenny Lind twin bed from the 1920s has been painted white over the original walnut. And has small chips which give it that cottage look. It has been in our family the entire time. It consists of a headboard, footboard, and metal side rails. NO mattress or boxspring included.
