The tall chest is very nicely formed with a bowed front, reed carved quarter columns, carved rosettes, shaped top, spade feet, divided top drawer of base chest, nicely appointed brass pulls and dovetailed drawers with mahogany secondary woods. There seems to be a wooded cog-like wheels where the running boards intersect. The wood is nearly 2 inches thick around the standard boards. Thicker elsewhere.
