Vintage Sheraton Style Double sized Bedframe Up for sale is this very nice vintage Sheraton style bed frame. The head& foot boards are about 56 1/2 inch wide. The headboard stands about 43 inch tall with the corner posts being 56 inch. The footboard stands about 36 inch tall with the corner posts being about 50 inch. The rails are about 76 inch long X 5 1/2 inch tall X 7/8 inch thick. Overall this is a very nice bedframe even though there are some minor scapes and scratches. The rails have more scratches and the usual edge chipping of the veneer. In addition. One rail has a couple small pieces of veneer peeled from top to bottom. Vintage Brass Bed Two Inch Tubing on Casters Size Full ? Interlocking Frame
Vintage Brass bed. Two inch tubing, size narrow full, on casters. We are very pleased to be able to offer for your consideration this Vintage brass bed. This brass Bed looks much like the classic Rogers style brass beds made around the turn of the last century. The headboard and foot board frame is made of a heavy gauge 2 inch diameter tubing. The accent tubing is 3/4 inches in diameter. The side frame members are heavy steel rails, and have interlocking ends. The bed carries no makers marks, or dates that I can find, but we do know it is at least 50 years old. The mattress rails on this frame are 52 1/2 inches apart. A bit narrow for a standard 54 inch full mattress, but the length is a standard 75 inches. The frame headboard measures 63 1/32 inches tall. The foot board measures 42/34 inches tall, both are 56 inches wide. The bed is 82 inches ... morein total length. Condition- The overall condition of this bed is very good. It is a solidly built piece of furniture. The only flaw I can see is in the tarnish that has accumulated mostly of the horizontal rail of the footboard. It may have seen a great deal of use as a handhold. But this could be buffed out, or left as is. There is also one very small ding on the top right side of the headboards horizontal rail(See picture provided) But other than these small flaws this is a well built, good quality bed, one that will last more than a lifetime This brass frame bed has a very classic. This 4-post bed frame is absolutely beautiful. Some specifics: From the 1940's. On each post. There is a sculpted pineapple, the universal"welcome" symbol. Measures approximately 54" wide x 49" high. Used for full size bed. But I was told it would also work for a queen size as well. Check measurements above. Has six 3" thick wooden slats that hold mattress in place. The wheels are metal and roll fine. The bed was probably made before World War II. The Simmons sticker does not have a model number on it. The frame is in good shape and may have some small dents and dings along with scraps and scratches. The outside of the frame measures 79 inches by 53 ½ inches. The metal wheel on each caster is approximately 1-1/2 inches in diameter and is approximately 3/4 inches in width. The casters are designed to fit inside of a hollow tube and have a circular piece of metal that the tube sits on after they are inserted into the tube. These casters have a wonderful patina on them. I have not cleaned them and will leave that decision up to the winner of the auction. I will gladly ship these casters to any of the 50 states except Indiana. Vintage/Antique Maple Full Size Bed Frame Headboard & Footboard
This is a vintage/antique Maple Full Side Bed. It consist of the headboard. Footboard and two side boards. It is a very simple design in a light finish. This bed was used in our summer home and was stored since the late 80's. The bed will require a little re-enforcing on the headboard, as it appears to need it. It can get used as is or refinished to give it new life. It may have had slats that went across the side boards to support the mattress, but I'm not 100% sure(I can't remember) however, those slats are not present, so if needed you will have to get wood and cut to fit. This is a used Antique/ Vintage White Cast Iron and Steel Bed Frame– Full Size. The bed appears to have the original paint. It does not look like it was ever repainted. The tubes are made of steel. The connecting pieces are made of Cast Iron. The decorative pieces that connect the smaller tubes are made of cast iron. The side rails have a tapered slot that holds them in place tightly. The bed is ding. Chipped, scratched, and scuffed. The frame measures outside 80 ¾ inches by 54 ½ inches. The inside frame measurement is 76 inches by 53 inches. The headboard frame is 50 inches tall. Offering a vintage Twin bed painted in Antique White. This is an older bed. I am not quite sure if it is antique. The bed railing is 13.5" from the floor, so it can easily accommodate a trundle underneath. The headboard is about 44" tall. The bed has some lovely details and displays nicely. There are some scratching and colored marker on the paint. It will probably need to be repainted to show at its best. The wood is strong and solid of unknown origin. Salesman Sample Brass Bed frame/baby doll/vintage antique/Store example/1800's
Original Vintage Antique small bed frame. The frame appears to be made of brass. I believe that it is a salesman example sample. It appears to be from the turn of the last century circa 1870-1920. But I am not a bed expert. All screws look original and are the same with no replacements. The yarn strung around the frame was obviously added much later, I will leave it as is for the next owner to decide what to do. There are cobwebs in places and marks that I have left as well. I have not attempted to clean the frame, and all patina is the way it was when I received the item. I have done nothing to the frame except photograph it. It looks very old. DIMENSIONS: length is 25 inches from the middle of the head to the middle of the foot bar. 15 inches across from the centers of the side rails, 18.5 inches tall from the ground to the top of the highest ... morepoint on the head, 3.75 inches from the ground to the top of the bottom side rail. 100 yr old Antique Murphy "in-a-dor" Bed Complete Vintage Retro Frame Headboard
This is a Murphy Bed that Came out of a hotel in Atlantic City in the 50's. And went into my Grandmothers house in the 50's. It is in perfect working condition, and is balanced and smooth when opening up. It is still in great shape. There is no rust, and all of the springs are intact and working properly. It comes with the Original mattress, and mounting hardware. The bed was designed to mount on the door jamb of closet. when not in use, it pivots inside the closet for storage. When needed, it swivels out of closet, and into the room, you just pull in down, and you have a bed made up and ready to go. You can even have the sheets and blankets on it already. It doesn't have to be mounted in a closet though. We had one in a closet, but this one was mounted to the wall in the corner of a back sitting room. We had a piece of fabric ... moreon a shower curtain like thing that hid it behind decorative fabric. It really is in perfect condition as we rarely used it(Christmas and Easter) There are a few scratches in the paint in the footboard legs(see pics) but other than that, it is a relic that has been perfectly preserved. I am only selling it because we are getting rid of the family house. It is not mounted currently(obviously by the pics) but mounts easily with 8 screws in about 10 mins. This is perfect for someone with an older house that has small rooms. It is great as a guest bed, because it is out of the way until you need it, allowing your guest room to be an office, sitting room or whatever until you have guests over. In antique store these are over $1200, and I have never seen one in this great of shape(except the one we left in the closet in A.C. so I am asking $850. I am happy to answer any questions.
