Fluted posts with detailed pineapple carvings on top of the headboard and footboard, a fluted column cross stretcher on the footboard, and a wonderful cutout shield on the headboard. The finish is a dark reddish-brown stain finish that shows some nicks and dings from being used. The outside dimensions are 40 inches wide, the post on the footboard is 48 inches high, the cross stretcher is 28 inches high, and the headboard is 60 inches high. The shield is 44 inches high.
