Rare Vintage, Iron Hospital Baby Crib- Bed
This is an extremely rare(Not a Reproduction) vintage hospital baby crib or bassinet. it measures 32 inches long by 18-1/2 inches wide by 35-1/2 inches tall. The removable basket which holds the mattresses measures 29 inches long by 15 inches wide by 12 inches high. When the basket is in the crib. It adds another inch to the total height of the crib, making it 36-1/2 inches tall. There are two original mattresses which have the original tags by the SIMMONS CO. The mattresses are aged discolored and somewhat stained and are not sanitary for use with a baby and would need to be replaced or at the very least sealed in a heavy sanitary cover. The bed has(not) been repainted so it is completely original. I bought this bed at an estate auction here in central Ky. Really rare item. Please email me with any questions. Rare Vintage Iron Hospital Baby Crib Bed from Mercy Hospital, Authentic Old Crib
This is an extremely rare real(not a reproduction) vintage hospital baby crib or bassinet. It measures approximately 32 inches long by 18-1/2 inches wide by 35-1/2 inches tall. The removable basket which holds the mattresses measures approximately 29 inches long by 15 inches wide by 12 inches high. When the basket is in the crib. It adds another inch to the total height of the crib, making it 36-1/2 inches tall. There are two original mattresses which have the original tags and they are stamped Mercy Hospital Assn. The mattresses are age discolored and somewhat stained and are not sanitary for use with a baby and would need to be replaced or at the very least sealed in a heavy sanitary cover. The bed has been repainted with enamel paint but is otherwise completely original. Underneath the paint, the bed is chrome. I have had this bed for ... moremany years and have been using it to hold dolls and/or linens. It would also be a great outdoor piece for flowers, etc. Really rare item. Antique Baby Cradle / Bassinet Rod Iron Circa Late 1800 or Early 1900's
This is a rod iron baby bassinet from northwest Wisconsin farm country. This bassinet came from an estate of a man that passed just prior to his 100th birthday. It was his first place to sleep as an infant. There was probably a down pillow for the baby to sleep on. The basket measures 26" long by 13" wide by 8" deep. From the floor to the top of basket is 23" Floor to top of mosquito net bracket is 43" This bassinet appears to have been painted twice. As seen in the pictures it will swing back and forth. The metal on this is in very good condition with some surface rust as also seen in the pictures. This item will need to be taken apart to make shipping reasonable. There are four nuts that can be removed and it fits in a much smaller box for shipping USPS. The nuts are not rusted and remove easily. Shipping charges ... moreinclude proper packing.
