This 4-post bed frame is absolutely beautiful. Some specifics: From the 1940's. On each post. There is a sculpted pineapple, the universal"welcome" symbol. Measures approximately 54" wide x 49" high. Used for full size bed. But I was told it would also work for a queen size as well. Check measurements above. Has six 3" thick wooden slats that hold mattress in place. Beautiful EASTLAKE FULL SIZE BEDFRAME FAUX PAINTED I am not a dealer in antiques or really know much about them so I will describe what I see and you can email me questions for more information. I have tried to research this bedframe so I could list it here on Ebay. But could not find anything close to it. Gorgeous Eastlake style full bed from the 19th century. We found this behind a wall when we were renovating a house about ten years ago. The faux painting is in marvelous condition. I think because it was hidden away from the light for so many years(we owned the house for forty years and didn't know it was there. There is a headboard, foot board, and side rails all with that artistic faux painted finish in excellent condition. However, as I tried to shown in the photos the footboard was broken at some pointbefore it was put away behind ... morethat wall in the house. Here we have a 4 Piece Veneer Bedroom Set- Full Size Bed(Head/Footboard/Rails) plus Vanity with Stool. Plus Bureau. I believe the set was made in the 1940s. It looks kind of Art Deco to me. The headboard for the bed is 43" high and 56" wide. The bureau is 30" wide. 18" deep, and 47" high. All the pieces(except the stool) are veneered, and over the years the veneer has suffered the most damage. I noticed a crack/bubble in the veneer on the top of the bureau. There was a huge plant sitting on the right side of the vanity. You can see where the watering of said plant was not as precise as we would have wished. This is a gorgeous Three Piece Hard to Find Bedroom Set! Full/Double sized- Headboard and Foot board- Turned spindles. Inlaid woods, Just beautiful. The side rails, metal and wood, are included as well as the cross boards for the mattress supports. No Mattresses. There is a Vanity with original mirror- and a Very nice chest.
