This bed has been the property of a single family for many generations. It is quite the amazing piece as even the white paint is all original to the date of manufacture. There is one noticeable bend in the thin iron of the foot-board. As you can see in the photos. I am positive that it would take no more than a strong arm to bend it back into shape. I can't find any more defects on the piece. But it is being sold as-is with no warranty due sole to the age of the bed. For sale is a set of matching Twin Brass/Iron beds from the 1920's. Included. But not shown are the box springs and mattress sets for both beds, less than two years old and hardly used. Ages ago my daughters shared a room. What I liked about the beds was the frame are narrower then bed today, taking up less room and fitting nicely in a smaller space. The are solid! The iron based frame fits together like a puzzle piece with no hardware, just like the foot and headboard. Easy to set up, move, and store. The beds are brass but I like the shabby look of white. A pure white or any other color could be done easily with spray paint. The end frame is bowed to hang a blanket over.
