You are bidding on a set of cast iron pin type bed rails used generally with brass or brass& iron beds made from around 1880 to close to the 1920's. These rails are in very good condition. They have been sanded and painted with a light coat of white paint to keep them from rusting. Dimensions: total length 74 inches from end to end counting the pin, 72 inches not counting the pin, 1 inch diameter of top of pin, 5/8 inch diameter of bottom pin, total length of pin approximately 2 inches in length. I bought these to fit my daughters antique bed but they did not fit.

This is an antique cast iron bed. It has a little rust but still extremely solid. It measures 43 inches by 6 feet and is 56 1/2 inches tall. It probably weighs over 100 pounds. This is for a very rare and very hard to find solid wood antique spindle bed. Wheels on the bottom with cast iron. Heavy side rails. This is an antique twin bed. Normal surface wear. Small dent on the headboard, see photo, it can be repaired. This bed is gorgeous a one-of-a-kind and very, very hard to find. Rails no longer have the screws or bolts to attached, but they can be purchased and installed separately. We are selling the footboard. The headboard and the two side rails. Measures: Headboard- 48" tall x 36" wide x 2" deep. Footboard- 41" tall x 36" wide x 2" deep. The iron rails measure 75 1/4" long and when assembled it will sit 11" up from the floor.
