Much better than what is typically found beds of this type and era, ready to use very clean and with a wonderful patina to the wood. With the original slats, no replacement wood no discoloration no significant or structural damage. The head side of the rails on each bed have a missing part of the decorative designee and the other rail with one intact and one repaired(see the third photo) One of the footboards has chips on the base of the columns(see last photo) and this footboard also has some loose joints giving it some slight pay, less than typical for antique bedframes. This is a turn of the century 3 pc. bedroom suite. It's a beautiful quarter sawn Tiger Oak. The mirrors are beveled. Each piece is extremely heavy. The dresser is on original rollers. This is a complete matched bedroom set handmade in New York sometime. We think, between the 30's and 50's. The maker was H. Herrmann Furniture Company, who had been in business hand making furniture since the 1800's. We've had several offers over the years but have finally decided to part with it. There are six pieces in total, all shown in pictures above. There are normal scratches one might associate with a set of this age. The inlaid design is spectacular. We are offering this beautiful antique bedroom set. Which includes FULL SIZED bed frame, headboard and footboard, mirror, desk and nighstand. We think this is genuine mahogany, but make no guarantees. I purchased it for my guest room from a reputable antique dealer in Birmingham, AL at Chelsea Antique market ten years ago. It has barely been used since I've owned it and is in excellent condition with only minor scratches that you could easily fix with a marker. It would not need refinishing and could go straight into your home. Our home is pet-free, smoke-free and kid-free and of course always climate controlled. The set does not include the mattress. Vanity with large mirror, end table with drawer and shelf, and a bench with fabric padded seat. These items were refinished in the 50's and have some wear to the paint.
