This is a really nice bedroom set for sale. It's all solid wood with dovetail joints on the drawers. It includes a full size bed frame with head board. Foot board, hardwood side rails and slats, a tall four drawer chest and a vanity with mirror. The bed frame is approximately 36 inches tall, 56 inches wide and 80 inches long. The chest has four drawers and is approximately 48 inches tall, 17 inches deep and 32 inches wide. The dresser/vanity is 36 inches tall, 17 inches deep and 44 inches wide. The mirror is aproximately 32 inches wide by 34 inches tall. It has a medium brown wood finish(I believe walnut) that goes with any decor. The bed foot board, the chest, and the dresser all have a really nice raised check detail which shows off the craftsmanship of the set. This is a beautiful Antique Oak High Back Bed Headboard Footboard and Rails Just lovely furniture and perfect for a period themed bedroom Type of wood we believe oak but not 100% certain. Measurements: 81" long by 54" wide 59" Height of High Back headboard(during this time frame we believe it was considered a full-size bed) Sold wood and has a lovely top(steeple for design and lovely carvings) see pictures Condition Very good for it's age but there is some minor wear the corner footboard is missing the top knob used for design(I have picture with it and the other one without to show what I am talking about) Please see pictures as this is"sold as is" Age we believe 1930 to 40's hard for me to determine exact year. Vintage Antique Full Size Iron Steel Barcalo Bed Headboard Footboard Rails&Slats
I inherited this full size bed around 1987 from a friend who I have lost contact with so I can not give the exacts on when this bed was purchased or manufactured. My research shows that the bed is a Barcalo bed. Style# 2732 which originally had a walnut finish on it and possibly made as early as 1928. The headboard and footboard are hollow. When I took procession of the bed it had a gold painted finish on it. I altered the appearance slightly by slapping on some brown and black paint on the footboard and headboard to give it a distressed look. The headboard and footboard have moved four times since then so in places the two layers of paint have rubbed down to the original steel finish(I’m assuming it’s steel since a magnet sticks to it) There is one rubber slide. So you will need 3 additional to protect your floors. If you like the distressed ... morelook. New paint can be easily applied or if you want to start fresh from the original steel, the paint comes off very easily by lightly rubbing with a paper towel and Goof-off. There is no rust on the any of the pieces and there are no dents. The original metal has a very light grey appearance as shown with the color swatch and also in one of the images showing the grey steel marked#5 I'm offering FedEx Ground and US Parcel Select. And can also work it out to ship UPS Ground which would be billed separately after the purchase. When I listed this item. The"Calculate Cost" was not working on EBay and the EBay employee that I talked to could not provide an answer on what was causing the problem. Authentic DECO Twin Brass Bed Frame headboard & footboard with rails and castors
Great Art Deco twin authentic brass bed. It has castors on all four legs in working order and two steel rails that fit nicely into the headboard and foot board. The original brass patenia is there so I will leave it up to you if you choose to polish it? There are no major dents or dings or scratches. Please look closely at my photos for the description. The headboard measures Height 43 inches and the Width is 36 inches.
