There is a stain(maybe water) on the left side of the crest rail and on the right side ... moreof the center panel. The center panel has 3 small surface splits in it as well. The footboard has a split on the left side where the center panel meets the post. The dresser has 2 small glove boxes and 3 larger dresser drawers and they all have dovetail joints. There is a nice cheval mirror on top of the dresser with a finial on top of it. The top of the dresser is showing some ware. There are a couple of scuffs and one spot. Overall this set is in good condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This set is antique and will not be perfect. The dresser measures 42 inches tall. 42 inches side to side and 23 inches front to back. It weighs 116 pounds. The headboard measures 58 inches tall, 58 inches side to side and 2 inches thick. Antique Walnut High Headboard Bed Beautiful Carvings and Gold Metal Castings
This is a beautiful high headboard walnut. And burl walnut bed. The dimensions are close don't kill me if I'm off a half inch here or there. It is 89 inches tall, 57 inches across on the inside of the frame, 74 inches long once again on the inside of the frame, and the foot board legs are 34 inches tall. I'm guessing it is from the 20's or 30's and is in excellent condition for it's age. There is a narrow shrinkage crack in the left hand headboard panel, other than that there are some small dents and dings in it, look at the pictures to see what you think or ask for more pictures and I will be happy to send them. The yellow metal castings are very well done a man's head with a lion's head perched on top of his. Great carvings of a pair of pears at the top of the headboard. The chest has four drawers and is approximately 48 inches tall, 17 inches deep and 32 inches wide. The dresser/vanity is 36 inches tall, 17 inches deep and 44 inches wide. The photograph of headboard and footboard has another footboard in between them that belongs to my bed that I'm using. I just didn't move it out of the way. French walnut headboard with very nice parquetry inlay. good overall condition as per photos. With the usual wear. Commensurate with age. Pretty solid condition but could. Do with a good clean and polish. The parquetry is in good. Condition with no lifting of the veneer. Would make into. A very nice headboard but you would have to make and fit. Your own rails and footboard etc. There is a small section. Of the corner moulding missing off the bottom of each end. But any decent carpenter could replace this quite easily.
