Much better than what is typically found beds of this type and era, ready to use very clean and with a wonderful patina to the wood. With the original slats, no replacement wood no discoloration no significant or structural damage. The head side of the rails on each bed have a missing part of the decorative designee and the other rail with one intact and one repaired(see the third photo) One of the footboards has chips on the base of the columns(see last photo) and this footboard also has some loose joints giving it some slight pay, less than typical for antique bedframes. Cool Rare Vintage Wooden Western Themed Wagon Wheel Bunk Bed 2 Twin Beds Cowboy
VERY COOL Rare Bunk Beds From the 1950s-60s in a Western Wagon Wheel Theme. They can be set up as bunk beds or as two twin beds. Heavy duty wooden construction(I think they are made of oak or maple- but I dont know wood) This set needs some TLC as the previous child owner(now in his 50's) put some stickers on it(See photos) So you will need a little elbow grease to get these off. Also. One of the wagon wheels needs to be reattached as it popped out during moving. This repair should be pretty easy you can either just use some wood glue or you could remove the old broken dowels(they were held on by dowels) and get some new ones at the hardware store. Up for sale is one pineapple top bed. there is one head board one foot board and two side rails. the bed is in good shape for its age with scratches.Chips,nicks.dings and fading. there is a chunk of wood missing on the bottom of one of the side rails see picture.one of the side rails inside rail(the rail that catches the box spring) has a crack in it. it is need of some restoration. we received this bed from my mother in law and I don't know a lot about it. the wood is a dark wood and appears to be mahogany,cherry or some other type of dark wood.
