The princess or deep well dresser offers the same rounded top and crest as the bed. Candle shelves are located on each side of the mirror. Raised burled panels and tear drop pulls adorn each drawer~2 small. 2 large. The matching washstand offers a nice storage, with a drawer and large storage area behind paneled doors. This Walnut Victorian bedroom set is in very nice condition for it age. The white and grey marble shows only normal signs of use having some slight discoloration. But no cracks or breaks. There is a repair to the footboard which is very sturdy and secure, not an issue and not very noticable~see picture#4. The headboard and footboard are original but I think the steel rails replaced wooded one that probably came with the original set. This set has the chest of drawers and vanity with all matching pulls with bakelight accents. Some of the bakelite edges are scuffed or chipped. For its age this set is in remarkable condition. Some chips on the edges and below normal wear and tear. The vanity has three mirrors on the back that are beveled and etched. Only a few minor blemishes. This is my great grandfathers and grandmothers bedroom set. It is from the late 20s. The dresser and vanity are in nice shape. There is a tiny bit of trim missing from the top right corner of the vanity. You can see it in the pictures. The full size bed holds a queen size mattress. As I show in my pictures. There is some water damage to the left front footboard, as you can see in the pictures, the veneer is lifting off a bit. A good wood person could repair this. There you go. This is a 1930-1940 Art Deco bedroom set that I recently acquired. It consist of the dresser and mirror(vaneer on back side of mirror is peeling- see picture& mirror glass itself just needs a cleaning) Bureau, full size head board and foot board. It does have bed side rails but the vaneer is peeled badly so I did not bother taking a photo.They fit perfectly with the head& foot boards and I assume any bedding would cover these rails or you can peel off the remaining vaneer and paint them.All of these pieces are on small casters/wheels. There are some snall nicks and also some surface blemishes from usage and age(see pictures) The dovetail jointed drawers work nicely, the units themselves are sturdy and solid. Offered is a Vintage/Antique Bedroom Set that consists of: Double Head Board and Foot Board. Tall Chest, Dresser and Mirror. These pieces were sold by The Adams Furniture Company LTD, Toronto. This company was in operation in the late 1800's and the last information I can find on them is a catalog from 1910 and an article written in 1912. So the age of this bedroom set cannot be accurately determined. The story is that the Canadian man who owned this set, bought it sometime in the 1940's from a doctor in Canada when he got married. There is no way to tell how long the doctor owned this set before he or she sold it. The bedroom set is in pretty good shape considering age and is very functional. If one desired. It could stand to be refinished or left in it's original state for the character. I took many pictures so you could get ... morea good idea of condition. The company information I could find stated much of the furniture was crafted out of oak and finished in golden or Early English colors. I am not sure what this finish is or if they crafted out of mahogany as other products were offered. The bed is equipped to handle a double mattress. However their are no mattress slats with this piece. A regular double metal mattress frame fits inside the opening just fine. The measurements are as follows: Head board approximately 57" wide, head board posts 50" tall, foot board posts 44" tall. Dresser approximately 45" wide, 20 1/2" deep and 35" tall. Tall Chest approximately 53" tall, 19 1/2" deep and 33 1/2" wide. Mirror approximately 47" bottom to top of finial and 23" wide. Pieces are very sturdy and heavy. There are 2 drawer pulls missing. Included in this set is a full size bed with headboard and footboard and sideboards and slats; a vanity with mirror and 2 drawers on each side and a glass shelf(intact) 3(deep) drawer dresser with mirror; large armoire with 4 drawers and a cedar-lined closet section. And 2 chairs- one with arms and one without. This is a solid and beautiful set purchased in the 30's by my grandparents. This set has been used and shows signs of normal use and wear. Main items to note: there are some scratches on the tops of the pieces. On the dresser there is an area of chips on one of the drawers(the bottom drawer of the dresser sticks a bit which caused it to rub the drawer above it) one of the handles on the armoire's drawers is broken, and one of the legs with casters on the underside of the armoire needs to be reattached. 1930's dark wood bedroom set dresser/cheval mirror vanity/trifold mirror bed
Three piece bedroom set from the 1930s if not earlier. This set was in my Grandma's house when she bought it in the early 1930s. The set includes a large bureau/dresser with cheval mirror. The mirror is in great shape- really not much discoloration to the glass if any. All original knobs and hardware. I do not have the wheels. However, for the dresser. It was once refinished 40 years ago.There is some surface damage. The vanity also has all original hardware and a trifold/triple mirror. It has the original wooden casters/wheels. It has never been refinished. There is surface damage. The mirror has lots of"character" in the glass. The bed is a double bed with a wrap-around foot board. 1920s era bedroom set consisting of a twin bed, highboy and dresser.
The bedroom set consists of one twin bed. A highboy and a dresser. The tops are solid mahogany with veneer sides. Based on family history, manufactured in the 1920s by a local firm in Central New Jersey. There is some top scratching from moving damage, but the scratches only damaged the finish. Side rails need repaired. Does not come with mattress. Footboard and headboard show wear. 2. Dresser measures 50" wide. 36" tall(without mirror) Mirror is in good condition. Top of dresser has some wear. Has small compartment at the top for storing jewelry. 3. Wardrobe measures 40" wide. 57" tall. Has a shelf and pull out drawers on the left. 4.
