The headboard is 64 inches tall including the crown the footboard is 30 inches tall. The mattresses are 73.5 inches long and 34.5 inches wide. LET’S TALK CONDITION: Excellent condition for the age. Much better than what is typically found beds of this type and era, ready to use very clean and with a wonderful patina to the wood. With the original slats, no replacement wood no discoloration no significant or structural damage. The head side of the rails on each bed have a missing part of the decorative designee and the other rail with one intact and one repaired(see the third photo) One of the footboards has chips on the base of the columns(see last photo) and this footboard also has some loose joints giving it some slight pay, less than typical for antique bedframes. 1920-1930 Antique Thomasville Bedroom Set
Collectors Set- Family Heirloom Bedroom Set has been in my family since the 1930's and may predate that time. Handled gently. It was owned by my great Aunt and later passed down to me. The Thomasville Emblem can be found inside some of the drawers. The model number stamped on the back of each piece is L-553. The wood is in amazing condition and has never been refinished. Some surfaces show scratches on the top and could use smoothing and refinishing but overall the set is truly gorgeous. This is a beautiful. Original, mahogany antique bedroom set with simple and gorgeous floral design. Manufactured by Berkey& Gay Furniture Company which originated in Grand Rapids, MI. The brass label as shown was used starting around the 1920's to the 1940's. The set is in very nice condition. Originally purchased for $2000.00 in 1995 as a birthday present. It was perfect for me as a young girl then served as a lovely bedroom set for my guest bedroom. I have since downsized and no longer have space for it. This set includes a beautiful twin bed with mattress and box spring included. There are minor scuff marks on side rails of bed. You will also see the simply elegant vanity with mirror and two drawers. There are some tiny scratches on vanity top molding. The mirror has a few small age marks. Antique 3 piece 4 poster bedroom set (full-size)
For sale. 3 piece antique full bedroom set, estimated 1920's, in EXCELLENT condition. Has been used continuously for the seventeen years I have owned it with no problems, selling due to lack of space. All flaws shown in pics. There is some kind of white discoloration on tall dresser, a couple of water rings. Top drawer of dresser is loose. Joint of vanity has pulled apart a tiny bit, care is needed moving it. The set consists of two outlandish and heavily overcarved, oversized wall mirrors, a one-drawer night stand, a ladies vanity/writing desk, a most unusual drawer configuration on a six-drawer chest, and a lovely tall six-drawer chest, and the rarest part, the twin matching beds. All of the cabinet pieces have had the tops re-sprayed to bring out the gorgeous grains. I thought long and hard about breaking this set up, because these beds would bring premium money. They are gorgeous, with the curved footboards, bold headboards, ball and claw feet, and carvings all around the footboard, headboard, and every place. This exquisite Bedroom set was imported from Italy and beautifully restored here. I purchased it in 2005 for $8995 plus tax.now I'm moving back to England and it won't fit in my home there. The set is Chippendale in style and is absolutely gorgeous. It consists of an ornate triple door armoire which has a full beveled mirror in the center, hanging rails and shelves on either side, it comes apart into 3 pieces for easy removals. The bed is set up to accomodate a Queen mattress, but I believe it can be adjusted to fit a king. The set has two marble topped bedside cabinets each has a drawer and cupboard under. I bought this set in Albuquerque in about 2006. It's been in storage in Maryland for 3 years- it needs a new home! Two twin beds(mattresses/box springs if you want them) One nightstand, one vanity. Art Deco Waterfall Antique Five Piece Bedroom Set 1930s
Up for auction is a beautiful. Five piece, waterfall art deco bedroom set from the 1930s. It has its original varnish finish over book matched veneer and is in excellent condition for its age. The dresser has a small chip to the veneer on the right back side, the vanity has an area of dissolved varnish on the top left side(probably from a perfume spill at some point) the headboard was split and repaired along the right join arm(the piece that anchors the headboard to the frame- the repair is invisible when there is a mattress on the frame) and the footboard and siderails have numerous scratches. Overall, there is no major damage to the set and it looks great as-is. There was originally a rectangular stool that went with the vanity. But it was damaged and did not fit into the knee hole area, making it difficult to navigate around. The green ... morechair has been with the set for a long time, and is probably from the 1940s. It does fit into the knee hole area of the vanity perfectly. The dimensions of the dresser are 32" wide. 45" tall, and 18" deep. The vanity is 46" wide, 64" to the top of the mirror, and 18" deep. The bed stand or side table is 27" tall by 14" wide by 14" deep. The headboard is about 55.5" wide about 40" tall. The footboard is about 55.5" wide and 23" tall. Thanks for looking!
