Deal of the month- Check out this Mid Century Art Deco 4 Poster Bedroom Suite. The bed is a rare waterfall 4 Poster full size bed. The headboard and footboard are original but I think the steel rails replaced wooded one that probably came with the original set. This set has the chest of drawers and vanity with all matching pulls with bakelight accents. Some of the bakelite edges are scuffed or chipped. For its age this set is in remarkable condition. Some chips on the edges and below normal wear and tear. The vanity has three mirrors on the back that are beveled and etched. Only a few minor blemishes. Art Deco Bedroom Set Vanity w/ oval mirror, dresser, twin bed.
This is my great grandfathers and grandmothers bedroom set. It is from the late 20s. The dresser and vanity are in nice shape. There is a tiny bit of trim missing from the top right corner of the vanity. You can see it in the pictures. The full size bed holds a queen size mattress. As I show in my pictures. There is some water damage to the left front footboard, as you can see in the pictures, the veneer is lifting off a bit. A good wood person could repair this. There you go. Antique Bedroom Set Very Good Condition Offered is a nice bed room set in a deco or mid-century style. The furniture has a'bow' front without pulls. Drawers& doors open by pulling the lower center where there is a recess large enough for your fingers. The furniture is clean(meaning no water rings. Cigarette burns, gauges, etc) Buyers will find minor'use' wear which is minimal. This is a nice set of furniture. It is solid and sturdy. It stands evenly on the floor. The buyer can take this set home& use it. I can't say how long we have had these but can say they are a quality set and will have a major effect on a room when it comes to decorating. They can't help but get a lot of attention. Guaranteed antique- not a reproduction. This will retain value- the set is about 50 or 60 years old, perhaps more. The condition ... moreis above average to better. It does need a polishing but that is minor. There are minor surface rub marks& use marks. There are no structural problems, the mirror has a beveled edge without any shadow in the silvering. There are no repairs. Buyers are welcome to see the furniture before purchase, we are 75 miles north of NYC& located between Albany-Binghamtom-NYC. MEASUREMENTS: The vanity is 48" wide and 25 1/2" to the drawer tops and 62 inches to the mirror top and 18" at it's widest point. There is a 22 inch opening for the bench. The high-boy is 49 1/2 inch tall, 33 1/4 wide and 19 inches deep with lots of storage space. The bed is full size and 56 1/2 inches wide frame and 39" inch tall headboard. This set includes a vanity with a large round dressing mirror and a glass shelf for cosmetics, a vanity bench with pull-out drawer for storage, a full size bed with 2 wooden side rails-foot board-head board, a nite stand, and a tall chest of drawers. All pieces are matching and original to the set. There is no maker's name or label that we could find but it is made by a quality manufacturer similar to Haywood Wakefield.

Art Deco Waterfall Antique Five Piece Bedroom Set 1930s
Up for auction is a beautiful. Five piece, waterfall art deco bedroom set from the 1930s. It has its original varnish finish over book matched veneer and is in excellent condition for its age. The dresser has a small chip to the veneer on the right back side, the vanity has an area of dissolved varnish on the top left side(probably from a perfume spill at some point) the headboard was split and repaired along the right join arm(the piece that anchors the headboard to the frame- the repair is invisible when there is a mattress on the frame) and the footboard and siderails have numerous scratches. Overall, there is no major damage to the set and it looks great as-is. There was originally a rectangular stool that went with the vanity. But it was damaged and did not fit into the knee hole area, making it difficult to navigate around. The green ... morechair has been with the set for a long time, and is probably from the 1940s. It does fit into the knee hole area of the vanity perfectly. The dimensions of the dresser are 32" wide. 45" tall, and 18" deep. The vanity is 46" wide, 64" to the top of the mirror, and 18" deep. This auction is for this Absolutely Incredible Art Deco Bedroom Set- this 7 pc group includes the bed with headboard and footboard. Vanity with mirror, dresser with mirror and 2 stools. I'm saying 7 pcs because the night stands that are attached to the headboard could be separated and used differently. This amazing set is quite unusual to say the least and from what we can determine- quite rare. The only other example that we could find like it was just the vanity with small stool that was sold at auction in Houston for $2500. They referred to it as"OCEAN LINER" and we've been told it has similar appearance to some of the stateroom furniture on the Queen Mary. I will say this is some the most well made bedroom furniture I've ever seen- VERY HEAVY- made with flame maple, oak and bleached mahogany.with this dazzling blue ... moreglass trim around the mirrors- it looks like it should be at sea OR possibly near the sea! There are NO makers/manufactures marks anywhere that we could find. We believe this is from the 1920's based on the type of electrical cord that was used. Each one of the 4"night stands" have lights mounted inside- although they all need to be re-wired. They all have there original mirrored glass that slides into each one of the stands. These night stands mount/attach to either the large vanity& mirror or to the headboard. The measurements are as follows: Headbrd 90" wide by night stands x 41" tall. Vanity 72" wide with side tables x 70" tall w/mirror, Dresser is 50" wide x 23" deep x 70" tall with mirror, large stool 27" wide and smaller stool is 22" wide. As for condition- as you can see it's not mint- it's nearly 100 years old. The wiring needs re-done. The stools need re-upholstered and there are a few dings from use- but overall still in good condition. This is a gorgeous. Hard to find bedroom set from Jan 1942. Full size bed frame includes head and foot board and slats. Tallboy dresser with corner trays in top drawer in each corner, vanity with mirror and chair(mirror became detached from it's frame when I hauled it home, just needs a couple new clips) cedar chest aka hope chest is beautiful, has felt lined shelf, working lock and key. Dove tail construction on all pieces. Minor wear as would be expected in furniture of this age. There is chipping of the veneer on the front bottom of the cedar chest in one spot. Maybe form shoes bumping into it. I took pictures of it. This is the worst that I saw, other than some minor dings or scratches, again, common in furniture of this age. Excellent shape overall. It consist of the dresser and mirror(vaneer on back side of mirror is peeling- see picture& mirror glass itself just needs a cleaning) Bureau, full size head board and foot board. It does have bed side rails but the vaneer is peeled badly so I did not bother taking a photo.They fit perfectly with the head& foot boards and I assume any bedding would cover these rails or you can peel off the remaining vaneer and paint them.All of these pieces are on small casters/wheels. Gorgeous estate find! Waterfall style set that needs some refinishing and touching up. There are lots of nicks. Spots, wear, and chipped laminate throughout the set that needs some TLC. The footboard of the bed needs to be re-secured/attached to the posts. It has a slot end that fits into the hole on the post and might just need some wood glue. There are rollers on the bottom of the pieces that are missing but can be easily replaced. The drawers are dovetailed and the mirror to the vanity is original. Up for auction is this beautiful bedroom set it comes with a full size bed it is the last picture the size rails are wood they have some marks. Head board and foot board are in great condition. The dresser vanity and nightstand are in all great condition for there age their are a couple scratches on the nightstand you can see in the pictures. The only thing really wrong with the set is the little glass pieces missing from the vanity and dresser but I have them and they can be put back on. 1940s Art Deco Like Retro Vintage Antique Bedroom Set
My parents bought this set new right after WWII and kept it-when they liked something. They didn't get rid of it. A beautiful set in great condition with very clean drawers that slide easily. I've not seen another one like it when I've looked at anitques. It is veneer, as was common during that era, with a slight mark, here and there, from general wear. There is a repair my father made to a leg at the headboard, using a metal wrap to make it secure-please see picture, but not seen with a bedspread. Thank you for looking. Below there are 3 more drawers over 2 large deep drawers for more storage. The beautiful dresser has a mirror and a chest of 3 drawers over 2 large deep drawers. The Hollywood vanity table has a mirror and 7 drawers and is a welcome addition to any home and can be used a traditional vanity or a desk. Lastly, there is a vanity bench and a chair. There will be antique distressing here and there that adds antique depth and character. Original mirror glass has lost some silvering in spots and adds to the authentic antique look. The set is in very good condition. Clean, the hardware is original, original finish.The set has dustproof partitions. Drawers are dovetailed with oak contruction- a favorite of old cabinetmakers.
