Up for sale is a nice set of bed rails that were used with old iron beds and brass beds. They have the cone shaped end that many old beds had. They show a little difference in wear as seen in last 2 pictures. But the measurements are basically the same. 73-1/2" on one rail and 73-9/16" on the other(pic#2) The cone itself is 1-5/8" tall, top diameter is 7/8" and the bottom is 3/4" It projects 3/4" from square base. They are clean and straight. There are two drilled holes in one of them. But doesn't affect their function. I know that a fraction of an inch can make a difference how they fit so they may need a little tweaking( shimming or sanding) to fit your bed. Please be sure they will work for you before buying.
