There are some cracking of the wood from age, and scratches which would be expected. I took a lot of pictures so that you can see the detail. Bed comes with the footboard. Head board, rope, and two rails. The headboard, and footboard have small metal wheels. I used a bathroom scale to weigh each piece there are four. Head and foot board which are 45lb ea and two rails which weighed 20 lb's ea I figure the total weight to be around 130 lbs The Headboard and footboards are 56" wide. Welcome to my auction! I am proud to be offering for your consideration this antique American 3/4 size brass bed circa 1900. This bed was recently picked from an old Massachusetts estate. The bed was in a guest room and was seldom used. It is in very nice ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION! it has very few and all minor dents and still has a trace coat of the original laquer finish. The casters are present but for one broken wooden wheel. The rails are original as well. This bed is what was known as a three quarter. It measures about 6" wider than a twin and about 6" narrower than a standard full size. The actual measurements are.48" wide. 55" tall and 76" in length inside. N ot really sure when this was made.lady who owned it said she knew it was in the family in early 1920's.it is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition.the only"call" on the whole suite is the top of the drawer on the dresser on the left side has got a hairline crack. I did put it together once in the 90s to measure it for a mattress. It does take some coaxing to click all four pieces together at the proper angles. But once it's put together it's a solid, stable piece. This is the old"three-quarter" sized bed. Some people get custom mattresses made for these; others just put a twin frame between the siderails and use the bedclothes to cover the small gap. The two bed rails may or may not be original; they were unpainted when I bought the set and I painted them a coordinating green. The headboard and footboard have wooden wheels on the bottom; one is missing. Replace the missing one or remove the other three to let the bed sit flush on the floor. It also needs a good cleaning! Extremely rare walnut three quarter antique princess bed. Outstanding condition for its age. But we're not sure of exactly how old it is? This will be the focal point of any bedroom but unfortunately we have no room for it right now. The OUTSIDE is 51" wide, 77" long and the Headboard Post is 42" high, Footboard Post is 38" high. It will take a mattress approx up to 49" wide by 71" long. Very hard to find.

All original patina and finish simply glows from the wood frame body of this piece from the 1880's-1920's. Gaze at the wonderful headboard and foot board with spool top construction. The faces of the headboard and foot board are faux marble or grain painted. The rails are sleigh ends. This is a 3/4 bed and will require some longer rails made to convert to full size. Victorian Walnut Carved Highback 3/4 bed. Overall size is 54.5" wide x 63" high x 78" long. Footboard is 54.5" wide x 37.5" high. Has one chip at the very top of crown. Antique Walnut Jenny Lind 3/4 Sz Spool Bed w/ Box Springs - Very Good Condition
This was purchased prior to 1930 by my grandmother. It is a Jenny Lind style 3/4 spool bed in solid walnut in excellent condition. I did not like the dark finish and had it stripped to the natural finish. It comes with the original metal box springs and the mattress. Full-sized sheets work well. The mattress was unfortunately damaged by water from when it was in my condo storage unit. It was a very small amount of water. But it damaged one of the short ends of the mattress. The damage looks to be possibly from rust from the frame inside that material. That said, I want to keep it wrapped in the plastic so I don't want to check further. Mattress companies can find 3/4 mattresses if this one doesn't meet your needs. I dismantled the bed a few years ago and all of the pieces(but the box springs) And the mattress, have been wrapped in ... moreplastic from the moving company since then. I do not want to remove the plastic, so I did not put the bed back together for an assembled picture. The entire bed consists of a head board and foot board 38" high by 53.5" wide by 2.5" deep; side rails 72.5" long; nine slats to place under the metal box springs. The box springs could likely be placed on the rails without the slats, but the slats add stability and my family has always used them. Finally, the mattress is included.
