Metal slip on hooks, original stripped cushions. I love this piece.and, remember using something similar when I went canoeing with my grandfather. After a little research, I found that this was made by the Tucker Duck& Rubber Co. of Fort Smith, Arkansas.I can see a slight essence of the marking on the back but it is very hard to see just the Made by Tucker.the rest is pretty much gone. Both the top and bottom have five wood slats and I an unsure of the type of wood. The wood slats are rounded at the top and has a nice thick trim at the bottom. It is portable and folds, it has metal joints for folding and metal rounded pieces on the bottom portion to slide onto a bench or canoe seat to keep the chair in place. There are the original cushions included which are multi-colored stripes. The top and bottom cushions have corner flaps to put over the slats, which works on the top but are not needed for the bottom. The cusions are dirty. The wood is in good condition and the only area where there is a crack is at one of the joints where there is a crack up the external wood piece where the metal joint is bolted in.it runs up the wood, not across, but still seems sound however, I would recommend suring it up a bit.
