These 3 marble white faux leather on wood Samsonite Streamlite suitcases and trunk are in great shape from the 1950's and 1960’s! RARE TRUNK! These trunks are very hard to find. THrough research I have found that a lot of these were just made for display and very few were made. The largest trunk measures roughly 30L" x 16W" x 12.5H” The carry-on/wardrobe measures roughly 21L" x 9W" x 19H” The smaller train/make-up case measures close to 13L" x 8.5W" x 9H" You can see from the pics the color of the exterior and interiors as well as the various pouches and straps. These are all Samsonite and there is a key for the entire set. These cases could be used for a number of things besides luggage. A very popular use is for camera equipment or speciality tools. By installing foam packaging and cutting it to fit ... moreyour camera or tools is a stylish and less expensive way to protect and transport. These type of cases can also be used for decor such as end tables. Shipping includes insurance and a delivery confirmation. Delivery confirmation is not a tracking number. Up for sale is an old rounded black and brown suitcase. It is 18" wide. 17" tall and 9" deep. It has a handle on the top and a snap lock, with other hinges on the sides. I do not have a key to actually lock the case, but you can open and close the snap closure. The inside is a blue pattern cloth and it does have some stains. The outside has some scratches and dings, and the brown trim is a little rough. It is still structurally sound and has a great look. It is black in color and has the look of leather however I think that the leather is a faux leather except for the handle which I believe is real leather. It has a good look to it. For auction is a fascinating antique black chest that is 12.5 inches wide. 12.5 inches deep and 7.5 inches tall. It has a hinged lid with two fastening clasps on the handle side. The inside is lined with a kind of gray felt. Given the interior partitions, I wish I knew exactly what this chest was designed to hold. Perhaps you know. I cannot determine precisely the composition of the chest walls. Each corner has a protective metal corner and metal brads hold the case/chest together. The hinges have the word"Corbin" on them. The handle appears to be leather coated with a stitched seam. The case is sturdy and sound with no holes, but it does have excessive wear: dents, rusting, staining, scratches. The case and handle are solid but if you look at the pictures you will see when it's open it's a little warped which I think is common for one of these. Antique Vintage Round Black Leather/Vinyl Suitcase Hat Box Train Case with Key
This is a beautiful early 1900’s antique round black Leather/Vinyl Suitcase Hat Box Train Case. This piece has been around. It does show some wear. The surface has some scuffs and scrapes and on one side it looks a sticker has been removed. The body and handle are very solid. The hardware is all original including the Excelsior lock which still works and has the key. One pin has been replaced on the upper part of the lock. The repair shows on the inside of the lid. The liner is in good condition with some stains. The elastic in the upper pouch is still very tight. One of the leather straps to keep the lid from falling back when open is broken but the other is still in very good shape. The Dimensions are 17 1/2" x 16" x 8 3/4" Please look at the pictures.
