REDUCED!!! 1930's Antique Wardrobe Steamer Trunk - Local Pickup
Charming old wardrobe trunk available to add to your collection of antiques! Since it is super heavy. Local Pickup only. UPDATE! We are willing to negotiate delivery within approximately 75 miles of our home! What's so cool about this wardrobe trunk is that it has features that so many of the other wardrobes you see don't have or they're missing! Also. It was restored approximately 20 years ago and is still in good condition. You may want to repaint or reline the trunk to make it your own, but you don't have to worry about a bunch of repairs because they were already done. For example, the metal trim was not brass and so it was painted. It could easily be repainted to suit your needs. As for the unique, original features, the trunk includes: a wooden ironing board, metal bracket for iron, a pull out holder for the ironing ... moreboard, 6 wooden hangers- one of which holds a cloth laundry bag, a removeable wooden box(holds shoes.lap desk? and 4 drawers- among other features. It's missing the outside lock and original leather handle(handle was replaced with a strong leather buckled handle) The key to the inside lock, the narrow flat bar that slides in front of the drawers, and some material behind the drawers. Some of the material is faded. The hinges and drawer pulls are secure and in functional condition except one outside latch(this doesn't prevent the trunk from closing tightly. The metal rods that hold the hangers extend out to hold the ironing board and are easy to slide in/out. All the drawers are lined with material and are in good/clean condition. The top drawer is divided into three compartments and is in good condition. The two middle drawers are in good condition too. The bottom drawer is deep and has a shallow pull out tray which exposes a cool feature. The feature is a sphere shaped cloth form that straps to the side of the drawer with leather. The original leather is still in place and functional. But somewhat brittle. My guess is that a hat could be pinned to the form to keep it saf

Antique Trunk Vintage Box Wood Slats Small Local Pickup 28722 Rustic Cabin Decor
Size 28 inches wide. X 15 1/2 inches front to back, x 18 1/2 inches tall. Very small and nice trunk that wouldn't take up much space. Has a great patina. I took a lot of pictures to show the description. Handles don't match. Probably one or both is added, but they have the right look. The stay which holds the trunk open is there. But not original, but like the handles, looks right. The lock is missing. But you could find a replacement or leave as is. This will be great for decoration and some storage. Inside is lined with newspaper. Looks like it was done a long time ago. This trunk is one of the best i've had as far as rustic and patina. If it doesn't sell. I will keep it. Vintage WWII Era GI’s Steamer Travel Trunk LOCAL PickUp In well-used condition. It was used by a GI in WWII to go to England. Since then it has been a storage item. Outside measurements 34” wide. 20” deep, 23 ½” high. It has an inner tray that can be used or not. See photo. It is cracked. The key is missing. The lock is there but has not been used(no key. One of the side handles is gone and the other is so deteriorated that I would not suggest using it. There are marks and scratches on the outside from use. Some surface marks inside too. Ohio Local pickup only HUGE Vintage Trunk Storage Chest MIlitary style Green
Tons of watchers bid now don't miss out! This Huge Vintage truck measures 40"x23"x 25" and has a dark military green finish. The base is made from metal and the sides are wood wrapped in leather. I have seen these used as storage trunks as well as coffee tables in the past. It could also double as a Cedar chest or window seat. The outside has that natural distressed look that is sought after these days. The hinges and latches all work and the key and lock mechanism has been removed previously. The leather cary straps are in great shape and can even be used to carry the trunk. The inside is lined with paper which appears to be original and gives an strong indication of the era from which this trunk has come(1940's-1950's) As noted in the title the color on the outside may indicate that this was used for military ... morepurpose such as storage chest or as a gang box. Cedar Chest - 1960's chest Local Pickup ONLY Cleveland Area
Lane AltaVista. VA cedar chest. Was previously owned by my grandmother but she passed away. It is in used condition with scratches on the top but the inside of the chest is in near perfect condition. The bottom drawer has a green felt bottom with some scratches. It comes with the key to the chest and has a button release for the top. This is a local pickup item only and must pick it up yourself. Vintage Lane cedar hope chest. Beautiful floral design nice condition but wood has some scuffs here and there. Looks like feet have been replaced and small square replaced on bottom. Lock has been removed. No key. 44 L. X 19 W x 23 H to rail. I have read that some very old Lane cedar chests prior to 1930 may have the date of production in the serial number but not in reverse order so it is possible that this chest was built in 10-10-1928.
