Vintage National Vulcanized Fibre Co. Steamer Wardrobe Trunk Titanic NVF antique
This auction is for a beautiful antique wardrobe steamer trunk made by the National Vulcanized Fibre Company. The construction of these trunks bearing the indian-head label date back to the late 1800s into the early 1900s. This particular piece has been stored in my moms attic since she and my dad purchased their house in 1965 from an old couple who had lived in the home since i was built in 1924. I'm estimating the age of this trunk to be anywhere between 90 and 100 years old. As seen in the pictures the trunk had been only slightly used and does not show any signs of travel use. It shows signs of oxidation on the metal parts and slightly on the vulcanized material. The leather handle has not worn out and is still in good condition bearing the number 524-22. Antique/Early Vintage National Vulcanized Fibre Company Army Trunk
A soldier probably used this trunk to store his belongings in(such as food or clothes) This is more than likely an Army trunk. Because it's in the color Army Green. No key. It's about 2.5 feet wide and about a foot tall maybe foot and a half. Antique stores ask over $100 for antique trunks. Get this Army one for only $50 or make offer! I am also more negotiable than most antique stores! Local pickup only. We're in Lakeland. Florida; about 1 hour from Disney World in the Orlando area, and about 45 minutes from Tampa.

Vintage National Vulcanized Fibre Co. Black Steamer Trunk Chest Working key!
Up for auction is a vintage National Vulcanized Fibre Co. Black Trunk/ Chest with a working key/lock. There is a removable two compartment tray. One of the supports for this tray is intact but damaged. In overall good shape. There are scuffs, it is musty, the leather is old and crumbly, the brass needs a a good polish but in my opinion, it is cool. The pictures speak for themselves. Measures 30 3/4" long, 16 3/4" wide and 12 1/2" tall. Available for pick up in Joliet, Il or Burr Ridge, Il(on weekdays) Will consider shipping if interested. More pictures available upon request.
