BEAUTIFUL ART DECO WATERFALL 8 PIECE BEDROOM SET These items have been gently used and they are old but in good condition for their age. This set has been in my family since purchased by my parents numerous years ago. Vanity: has four large and deep drawers(16" long X 9-1/2" wide X 9" deep) that are all tough and groove construction and one center drawer( 21-1/2" wide X 8" deep X 4" tall) All with brass handles and pink seashell drawer pulls. There is a raised leaf pattern veneer between the drawers and a braided pattern across the front in the center above the center drawer. There is a curved glass tray in the center that is sitting on four brass knobs. Also has the original casters. Mirror: this is a very large oval mirror. 48" tall X about 24" wide, with backing to hold it in place. There is very ... morelittle discoloring(see pictures) has a couple of nips on one side. Stool: has original mauve covering. Measures 18" tall and 18" across. The stool is round and swivels. Chest of Dawers: this piece has the same braided pattern across the front the the raised leaf veneer between the top and bottom drawers. The bottom drawer has a hinged top and is made of cedar for those keep sakes. The whole piece measures 48" tall X 38 wide" X 19" deep. This piece also has original casters. All drawers have tough and groove construction. Bed: footboard has the braided pattern and headboard has the raised leaf veneer pattern. This is a double bed. The bed includes(2) matching sideboards and slats for the box spring and mattress(not included) Headboard is 38" tall and footboard is almost 22" tall. This bedroom was set was purchased at an antique store in Eureka. California for $3,500 about 8 years ago. Made by Morris Furniture Manufacturing Company, Los Angeles. It includes: Nightstand. 16 in wide x 13 in deep x 27 in tall- Vanity. 48.5 in wide x 18.5 in deep x 30 in tall without mirror, or 65 in tall with mirror attached- Stool with original upholstery underneath a layer of modern fabrics. 22 in wide x 12 in deep x 17.5 in tall- Dresser with five drawers. 32 in wide x 19.5 in deep x 49 in tall The set will require some polish. There are only two pieces of the original glass left(on the sides of the vanity) and the hardware is not original. There are some watermarks on the top of the nightstand. All in all the set is in good shape and is very lovely. The construction is fantastic.

Up for auction is an exquisite. Very ornate example of waterfall furniture from the 1940's. There is lots of inlay, ornate handles on the chest, and the pieces all have carved, large feet with other carving and detail work that makes this set very unique. There are extra handles for each piece( the dresser and the vanity along with extra bakelite for the dresser handles) I usually find Waterfall furniture boring but this is nowhere near boring. It is an exquisite, elegant example of Waterfall in its finest form. There is some minor surface wear on one side of the top of the vanity. And on the top of the dresser, but with some Old English they are barely visible. Deal of the month- Check out this Mid Century Art Deco 4 Poster Bedroom Suite. The bed is a rare waterfall 4 Poster full size bed. The headboard and footboard are original but I think the steel rails replaced wooded one that probably came with the original set. This set has the chest of drawers and vanity with all matching pulls with bakelight accents. Some of the bakelite edges are scuffed or chipped. For its age this set is in remarkable condition. Some chips on the edges and below normal wear and tear. The vanity has three mirrors on the back that are beveled and etched. Only a few minor blemishes. 1920's or 30's 3pc waterfall bedroom set. Vanity. 4 drawer dresser, and night stand. Back lit hardware, brass coloring with patina. The furniture is in good shape with the normal wear and tear, such as scratches and one chip out of the corner of a drawer to the vanity. The mirror has a few chips and some fading of the reflective surface. The only markings found on the furniture are 188 VAN TOIL.

Condition: good Gorgeous circa 1920's-40's matched bedroom set in good condition. Set comprises full size bed. Dresser, and armoire. For the purchase price, I will also include the darker wood vanity. The vanity is in acceptable condition, also waterfall style, with mirror attached. I have enjoyed this furniture for about 15 years and it still wows guests when I show them around the house. We are moving and it's time for a change. All pieces are very clean inside with original hardware in tact. Looks like bakelite and brass. Typical of the era. Ready to grace a new home-design history at a reasonable price. Bed: full size with wood rails and metal brackets. 3 wooden cross pieces to support mattress. The bed is not currently in use and could easily be adapted to a queen mattress with extender rails. It visually sits a bit wider ... morethan a full mattress and I think it will look great on a queen. One bracket has minor damage but held securely through over ten years of my use. There is minor wear and tear on the veneer, typical of the age of the piece. This wear was difficult to photograph. The head and footboard are still gorgeous, with a luminous satin finish-as you can see in the reflection of my feet. Dresser: 42" W x 35 3/4" H x 17 1/2"D. Three(3) large drawers. Beautiful with only very minor nicks associated with age and use. Armoir: 34" W x 58 1/2" H x 18 1/4" D. Five(5) drawers down the right hand side. Hanging area with door and false drawer on left hand side. Vanity: 44" Wx 27" H x 17 3/4" D. Mirror(slightly mismatched to vanity. But it still looks good) adds 36 1/2" for a total height of 80 1/2" Circular mirror is about 31" across at its widest point. Four(4) drawers, two on each side. Some veneer issues and other minor cosmetic flaws. Please message me for additional photos of blemishes resulting from age and use. Most of it is tiny. Art Deco Waterfall Antique Five Piece Bedroom Set 1930s
Up for auction is a beautiful. Five piece, waterfall art deco bedroom set from the 1930s. It has its original varnish finish over book matched veneer and is in excellent condition for its age. The dresser has a small chip to the veneer on the right back side, the vanity has an area of dissolved varnish on the top left side(probably from a perfume spill at some point) the headboard was split and repaired along the right join arm(the piece that anchors the headboard to the frame- the repair is invisible when there is a mattress on the frame) and the footboard and siderails have numerous scratches. Overall, there is no major damage to the set and it looks great as-is. There was originally a rectangular stool that went with the vanity. But it was damaged and did not fit into the knee hole area, making it difficult to navigate around. The green ... morechair has been with the set for a long time, and is probably from the 1940s. It does fit into the knee hole area of the vanity perfectly. The dimensions of the dresser are 32" wide. 45" tall, and 18" deep. The vanity is 46" wide, 64" to the top of the mirror, and 18" deep. Bureau is 44" long X 191/2" deep X 36" high. The mirror is 30" in diameter. Overall height of bureau with mirror is 69" Bureau has some cracked. Chipped veneer on top and several places on drawers. Some water spots on one side. Mirror has some silver loss at the bottom. Dovetail drawers are in good shape. The cedar chest is 46" long X 19" deep X 23" high with a shelf inside. No key. Feet have some veneer loss but the rest is in good shape.

1942 ART DECO WATERFALL LANE Bedroom Set Full Dresser Vanity Cedar Hope Chest
This is a gorgeous. Hard to find bedroom set from Jan 1942. Full size bed frame includes head and foot board and slats. Tallboy dresser with corner trays in top drawer in each corner, vanity with mirror and chair(mirror became detached from it's frame when I hauled it home, just needs a couple new clips) cedar chest aka hope chest is beautiful, has felt lined shelf, working lock and key. Dove tail construction on all pieces. Minor wear as would be expected in furniture of this age. There is chipping of the veneer on the front bottom of the cedar chest in one spot. Maybe form shoes bumping into it. I took pictures of it. This is the worst that I saw, other than some minor dings or scratches, again, common in furniture of this age. Excellent shape overall. Vintage Deco Streamline Waterfall style nightstand. Probably early 1930's. Restoration project. Please look at photos for condition. Very well made and in very solid condition with some severe veneer issues. Solid wood construction. Carved ribbed highlights are solid wood and are in good. Crisp condition. No cracking, deep gouges, distortion, staining or other visible damage. They do not look like they have been previously sanded. Easy to sand smooth and stain if desired. Veneer on flat side, top, drawer fronts is heavily cracked with sections of loss. Does not look like it got wet. Looks like possibly sun and age damage. Underlying wood beneath veneer looks solid and undamaged. If you know what you are doing with veneer replacement it should be straight forward. Drawers have 1/2" wood sides that are dovetailed on face and rear panel. ... moreSome of the tracks are a bit loose and need a spot of glue but are solid wood and undamaged. Nightstand was acquired from its original owner whom bought the pieces in Harrisburg in the late 40s and got the glass custom made in the 50s. But does have a bowed front on the top edge and drawers and certainly is from that same time period. This vanity is in good condition for it's age with only minor signs of being used. Antique waterfall deco bedroom set w/ armoire, vanity, bed, dresser, and chairs
Included in this set is a full size bed with headboard and footboard and sideboards and slats; a vanity with mirror and 2 drawers on each side and a glass shelf(intact) 3(deep) drawer dresser with mirror; large armoire with 4 drawers and a cedar-lined closet section. And 2 chairs- one with arms and one without. This is a solid and beautiful set purchased in the 30's by my grandparents. This set has been used and shows signs of normal use and wear. Main items to note: there are some scratches on the tops of the pieces. On the dresser there is an area of chips on one of the drawers(the bottom drawer of the dresser sticks a bit which caused it to rub the drawer above it) one of the handles on the armoire's drawers is broken, and one of the legs with casters on the underside of the armoire needs to be reattached. This is an amazingly beautiful waterfall bedroom set from I believe the 1920's. The original owner was a jeweler that bought it for he and his wife when they were married. Art Deco 40s Waterfall style Dresser Vanity with Mirror add to your bedroom set
Gorgeous! True vintage piece- awesome Art Deco"Waterfall" style Warm brown with a slight cherry reddish tone Tiger maple look grain in the wood(I'm no expert on the wood types- see the pics! 4 drawers. Original mirror, shelf areas in the middle Measures 44" wide. 19" deep, 28.25" tall plus mirror(62.75" tall including mirror) The mirror is 36" wide including the wood frame. And it comes apart from the base for easy moving. No chips or cracks in the wood. Lovely finish. With no water stains or scratches! Wow. The mirror is also true vintage. So it does have slight wear in a couple spots(meaning black or brown spots where the mirror"silvering" is gone) typical for an old mirror. But no chips or cracks or crazing. It is in excellent condition(sorry for the streaks on the mirror- we forgot to windex ... moreit again before taking the photos! Clean drawers. Gold toned hardware The outer sides of the dresser seem to have had veneer originally. But it was probably chipped, so it seems to have been removed and the wood underneath was stained to match the dresser. It's common for vintage veneers to chip, so that's probably what happened. It's not noticeable that it should have been there- see pics- but we thought we'd mention it, as we try to mention all so-called"imperfections" Also. As you can see in the photos, there is more than one kind of wood used on this piece, making for lots of personality. The darker"tiger-like" wood on the drawer fronts is very beautiful! Gorgeous estate find! Waterfall style set that needs some refinishing and touching up. There are lots of nicks. Spots, wear, and chipped laminate throughout the set that needs some TLC. The footboard of the bed needs to be re-secured/attached to the posts. It has a slot end that fits into the hole on the post and might just need some wood glue. There are rollers on the bottom of the pieces that are missing but can be easily replaced. The drawers are dovetailed and the mirror to the vanity is original.
