It is cast iron with a wooden seat and is attached ... moreto a piece of wood at the base. The casting design is quite ornate. The seat swivels but the height does not change as some stools do. I believe that the seat had fabric covering it at one time as there are small holes all over it. Possibly from staples? This fine piece would look great as a plant stand or even as a stool. It has mounting holes in the cast iron base for mounting it permenantly to a floor or just leave it attched to the existing piece of wood. The stool may be disassembled for shipment. The height is not adjustable. Get creative! Approximate Measurements The stool measures 19 1/2" tall and 21" tall including the base board. It has an approximate 6 1/2" diameter base. The seat of the stool has a 12" diameter. Markings None Condition Very good condition for its age. There is some minor to moderate scratches in the paint on the pedestal and base. There are several lots available, and each one, although very similar, will not be exactly the same due to the fact that these were not mass-produced like modern keys. Along with manufacturing imperfections and signs of age, some keys may have slight rust on them. Measurements range from 2-1/4" to 2-1/2" varying somewhat by lot due to every key being different. Lots may be combined into one shipment in order to greatly reduce postal costs.

The base of blue damask with pattens of diamonds and orchids over which mainly satin stitch embroidery is scattered, the larger panels of 100 Antiques motif wit large blooms and clumps of other blooms and fruits throughout. The edges and side borders and neckline or blue and silver embroidered bands with a brocade tape in light creamy yellow, the sleeves with bands of cream with chain and couched stitch embroidery of Buddhist emblems, bats, clouds and flowers. Wear to the sleeve edges and ending. Some stitching of borders coming apart(e.g. back lower border) Areas of discolouration and fading. Unmarked. We believe this gun is from the 1800's. It may be made by the British? It may be from the civil war period. But we are not sure. We have not been able to find any markings on it. Just trying to make some extra room and cash as we are behind on bills, I am a single mom of 2 but enough about me, The Cigar Holder belonged to my Father who was a huge cigar holder he tells me he isn't sure who made it but that it was from Italy and leather. The Sailboat bottle was from AVON 1900's NY from my Grandmother as she collected AVON and the woman statue with secret compartment was something I bought at an estate sale I loved she had a secret compartment and was so detailed for being so old. As you can see that both sides is painted the same and has the same peeling/chippy on both sides. This is 35" wide and 46" high, with each shutter door is about 15 1/2"wide x 30 1/2" tall. Sheffield plate wine cooler 1800 10 in. with armorial, Birks antiques dept. tag
Excellent condition antique item. Original old armorial crest on one side. This was purchased as an antique from Birks Antiques department in Montreal around 1960 and given as a commemorative gift to the master of a hunt club. And so engraved on the opposite side from the armorial. This is visible in the the photos. An interesting turn-of the-19th-century decorative old Sheffield silver-plate wine cooler. Ornate handles and grape-cluster rim. The three parts are all present and in good condition. Body, rim and liner, as the photos show. This item is in Montreal, Canada, so shipping within Canada and the US will be efficient and secure. The $60 shipping cost includes full insurance and secure packing. THIS CHIP REPUTEDLY WAS USED IN IN ONE OF THE TOMBSTONE BARS BACK IN THE DAY. I CAN'T PROVE IT. IT'S JUST THE STORY I WAS TOLD BY THE GUY THAT SOLD A HALF DOZEN OF THEM TO ME. Certificate of Authenticity accompanies bowl. 32.5 cm or 13"inches diameter. These types of ancient wares are not rare but scarce as intact as this piece is. Wear and minor encrustation remain. Ancient Chinese Warrior Statue made from China Yellow Porcelain over a Black Wood Body. Face& Hands are carved from Ebony/ African Black wood. Minimum 200 years old although Exact Age- Dynasty is unknown. Height 24" Width 7" Depth 6" Weight 14 lbs. This"Yellow Man" statue is very unique. Only one of it's kind. A Genuine Antiquity. It was purchased in China by my wife's Great-grandparents over 80 years ago. Antique Porcelain shows aged craze lines. Statue originally had a 4" long wooden Sword in left hand. Railroad Pick-Ax Late 1800's W/ Initials ICRR. or it could be 16RR It is really hard to read. Maybe if you have more knowledge than I do about this stuff, you willl know what it is. Belonged to my husbands Great, Great,Grandfather he worked on the railroad in Princeton KY in the late 1800's. The Louisville/ Nashville Lines ran through Princeton I am not for sure what the initials ICRR stand for. It is in good condition for being so old it looks like the original handle. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions: It would not let my directly Include the link in the description when searching the antiques roadshow archive use the search term ceramic container and there will be a set of 12 in a wood box. This frog I am selling was made by the same artist it's just a part of a different set that wasn't on the show Although this antique ceramic container was made by the same maker I was unable to find anything on this specific item. If you took the low end quote and divided it by 12 they would be prices around $500 each I know I don't have a set and can't ask anywhere near this. Eley Percussion Cap Primer Tin London 1800’s& BONUS Kynoch Tin Antiques Measurements: Eley is 1 9/16 x 9/16” Bonus tin is 1 ½” x 7/16” Combined Weight: 1.8 oz. 51 g) The Eley tin has one dent that I left‘as found’ and the surface rust as seen in the pics. Though about half of the Kynoch tin paper label is missing. From the remaining piece, I was able to identify the tin's maker with Google. The bottom has a dent on one side: top and bottom both show surface rust. The complete label would have shown: 100 Waterproof Central-Fire Breech-Loading Kynoch" Both these tins are empty and old– I estimate they are from the 1800’s. Of spherical shape with an unglazed mouth and rim, shallow domed cover of cylindrical form and painted with Hawthorne style prunus and coins on a blue ground, the body with panels of 100 Antiques motif surrounded by prunus reserved on a blue ground. Base unmarked. Some firing flaws to the cover in the form of cobalt explosions causing bubbles. Wear and some discolouration. It measures approx. 9 1/4" high by 8 1/2" across.
