The waders have a nice front pocket for keeping your fishing items in. The buckles and straps work fine and adjust. The boots are also a size 8 and show some wear but have no holes. Stunning vintage 1870's steamer trunk. Little different to the normal ones from this era. Quite a topic of conversation with visitors this one. The large impressive chest comes metal upright banding. Horizontal hard wooden banding held with large brass studs. Replacment top clamps added these were missing. Brass lock and Hasp. Shellac with Bri Wax polish finish. Two working side catches. Large Flat Top Steamer Trunk Nice. Sturdy well made, beautifully restored Steamer Trunk. Newly refinished in a unique antiqued brown. Oak slats have been sanded and stained in a rich red mahogany and coated with polyurethane. My goal with this one is to make it look untouched, but still have a clean usable antique. The interior is newly finished as well. Stripped, sealed and covered in a deep brown felt, no old trunk smell! The handles are original. And still look very nice. It doesn't appear to have ever had wheels on the bottom. Bottom is also refinished. Note: the top has 2 cracks. ANTIQUE SOLID BRASS STRONG BOX JEWEL CHEST SAFE W/ MOTION ALARM PATENT 1912. Click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge This is a solid brass strong box or safe. With a patent date of 1912. It measures 12 inches by about 9 and weighs over 10 3/4 pounds of brass. The brass is put together with rivets for strength on all sides. It was designed by a German immigrant, Herman Schmarsow of New York City. The patent date and number are on the bottom of the box. It was patented as a Safety Jewelry Chest. What is amazing about this old strongbox is that it has a built in motion sensor alarm system. Under the brass plate on the bottom is an alarm with an arm that would strike the side of the box with a loud clanging noise if the box was lifted. Moving the alarm pin on the underside. All the parts are there. But of course, batteries would have ... moreto be attached to make it work. There is a lock on the front. But unfortunately, I have no key. It would use a flat safety deposit type key from what I could find out. If you want to see how this safe and the alarm works. Nice Refinished Steamer Trunk Antique Chest With Tray
This is a very nice refinished steamer trunk from around 1900 or so. Here are the trunk's dimensions: from left to right across the front is 32 1/2 inches. From floor to top is 24 inches, and from front edge to back edge is 21 inches. There are some common or typical distress marks on this trunk. These include older nicks and dings in various places along with some stress cracks. The majority of all trunks have distress marks of some nature like this one. Local pick up only.

This tall attractive chest offers a tremendous amount of storage possibilities with classic style and elegance. This chest features floral and shell carvings. Original mirror and hardware and a working locks with the key, with the original casters intact on all four feet. This chest measures a total height from the floor to the top of the mirror of 69 1/2 inches. Height from the floor to the top of the chest measures 48 inches, chest measures 38 inches wide and 22 inches deep and weighs approximately 145 lbs. The original beveled mirror measures 27 1/2 inches wide by 17 1/2 inches in height. The original beveled mirror is in fine antique condition with only some slight cloudiness and pivots from to back to adjust viewing ... moreangle. The mirror has a carved shell crest at the top and features elegant floral carved scroll mirror supports. The chest below has 3 smaller drawers over 4 larger ones each with dove-tailed ends. 1940's Silver Flatware Storage Box Chest Great Graphics
This is a wonderful silver flatware storage chest from the early 1940's. The lady said she was married in 1941 and received it as a wedding gift. It has a wonderful picture on the inside of the lid. It is a cardboard material and shows wear all around the edges. One hinge is loose as show in picture. The inside is in good condition. The felt is in good condition and is a nice Royal Blue color. The NEW YORK CENTRAL SYSTEM tag shows an old railroad train traveling down the tracks& reads' The scenic water level route' while the name of former owner is written on the back. As you can see. Swedish Louis XVI chest of drawer circa 1920(Gustavian) made of birch. Mahogany and fruit trees. The top of the chest is made of marble and the hardware of bronze. The chest measures 28"l x 20"d and 33"h. This chest is an exact copy of a chest made 1779 for the King of Sweden Gustav III by the most famous furniture maker of the time Georg Haupt. The original piece is now at a museum in Stockholm. This chest was purchased at a quality auction in Stockholm, Sweden.

Being offered for sale is this lovely Empire Mahogany Cedar Lined Blanket Chest with Removable Tray circa 1900. This large blanket chest was made by and marked: Paine Furniture Co. Boston, MA" The Paine Furniture Company was founded in Boston. Ma in 1835 by Leonard Shearer. In 1835 Boston was a small city, but the furniture industry was rapidly growing and in 1872 Shearer opened an huge Paine Furniture Co. Furniture Center. By 1914 Paine Furniture was operating from a ten-story showroom and factory. This fine blanket chest is executed in mahogany with a wonderful cedar lining that offers a lift out cedar tray. This large chest offers a tremendous amount of storage possibilities and features full ebonized Corinthian columns with gold accents at the top and base. Scroll front feet and ball back feet with the original casters intact all ... moreon four feet. This chest measures 28 3/4 inches in height.46 inches wide and 21 inches deep and weighs approximately 75 lbs. The lift our cedar tray measures 40 inches long,16 inches wide and 3 inches deep and features cut-out handles on each end. There are some veneer chips here and there on the lid edge and feet. The top does show surface scratches and a dark ring. Lock is intact but we do not have the key. On the inside of the lid by the lock there is additional wear and scratches around the brass lock and small metal braces have been added at some point in time to the right inside back corner. This chest is a wonderful piece to place at the foot of a bed for storage of blankets and linens and is solid and sturdy enough to be a seating area as well and offers substantial storage with classic style. Mid Century Mahogany Federal Style 2 over 2 Drawer Chest W/ Banded Inlaid Design
This is a mid century Federal style two over two drawer chest. The maker of this piece is unknown. It appears to be a good quality piece that is well made. This is made from mahogany and has a banded. Inlaid design framing the faces of the drawers and on the top of the chest. There is string inlay down the front legs. The drawers are jointed and tight. The handles on this have been replaced. The original handles were an oval brass design and there are signs on the drawers where they sat originally. The piece measures 32.5" in height. 42" in length and 20 3/8" in depth. This has the original porcelain casters with brass caps. The top two drawers have an inside depth of 3.25" The middle is 4.25" deep and the bottom drawer is 5.25" deep. There is a slight warp in the top of this and it can be seen in the photos. ... moreThere is also a small crack on one of the side panels. Hello. You are viewing my sale for an Antique Sturdi Cedar Chest By Francis F. Hamilton. This is a"Margeret No. 580" according to the indentation on the bottom. This chest has an Early Patent Date of"Aug. 26, 1924" and the final date reads"March 9, 1926" These dates as well as others are indented on the bottom as well. This may have been a salesman sample of a larger size chest that was identical to this smaller chest. This is only my guess however. This chest measures when closed 4 and 1/2" tall by 12 and 3/4" long by 8 and 1/2" wide. On the interior there is a green felt fabric as well as a gold lace trim. There are the letters" K E V N" stuck to the interior section plastic dividers. This appears to be a modern add on for someone who owned this before. Painted pine primitive six-panel trunk or foot locker. This piece has a layer of blue paint over green paint and has a 4-H logo stencilled on the lift top. Sturdy construction with dovetail corners and applied molding around the bottom and iron braces at the corners. Beautiful stamped metal handles have been attached to the side. Brass key surround at the front lock. Unsure of exact age- the trunk itself probably dates from the 1800's. But its most recent paint job has to have been after 1910, when the 4-H logo was created. It may have been built as a tool chest and then repurposed for tack. Overall. This piece is in very good condition, although there is significant wear to the paint and some wear and minor damage to the wood itself. The overall size is 33 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 16 inches high inside. When closed, it exposes the gorgeous knotty cedar look with a beveled edge top.
