Original hand painted name address and San Francisco in white. Reads: Harold Longmire 1 Brighton Ave San Francisco Cal. Research puts this trunk around 1930-1935. Harold Longmire born 1911 San Francisco Ca. Restoration. Trunk had wood rot on bottom. Only the bottom had to be replaced as it was falling apart. The trunk was cleaned with a little water and cloth. Shellac was used to seal and protect the piece as well as bring out the shine of the beautiful wood and white original lettering. Black accent rivets/handles and bottom trim. Antique brass latch. I bought this from a very old Pennsylvania womans estate auction and I was told it is a 1940s Antique Vintage Sewing bucket. Basket, caddy on three removable spindle legs(they unscrew) It is made entirely of wood and the body seems to be a thick wood slat firkin bucket upside down with a sewing accessory shelf inside. The bands or straps are wood. It stands about 21 inches high and the bucket has a diameter of about 10.5 inches. It weighs about 7 pounds. It is in super condition for an item that is nearly 100 years old. There is a crack in one wood strap but it is solid, not loose at all(see pictures) Please buy condition from the pictures, this is very old with wear. Thanks.

Antique Vintage Wood Doll Handkerchief Glove Box Trunk Latch & Bentwood Handles
Fresh from an upstate New York estate! This offering is for a primitive light wooden box or doll trunk measuring 12" wide. 6 1/4" deep and 5 1/2" high. I believe it to be a handmade doll trunk as I found a primitive"Mammy" rag doll and an old celluloid doll inside(sold separately) but it could have also been used as a glove or handkerchief box. The trunk consists of wood panels nailed together with three narrow slats attached on top and one on the front. The wood finish is richly aged but there are stains near the old nail heads- which only gives it more character. To each end there is a bentwood handle. These look like they were an afterthought to the original construction. The front has an old aged tin lever latch. When the lever is vertical the box is latched shut. When flipped to the left, the box latch is open. ... moreInside the cover is attached a paper picture of a Victorian dressed woman. The bottom of the trunk is papered but the paper is stained and torn. A strap of burlap to the left side is no longer attached to it's nail to hold the cover from flopping back. The only splits in the wood slats are two short edge splits on the bottom. Each is aprox. 2" long and does not affect the structural integrity of the box. Antique. Steamer Trunk. We found it in the work shop at an estate sale. It was being used for storage of old boy scout memorabilia and old kitchen curtains. There are several pieces of stickers on the trunk and one from the Black Ball Freight Service with the phone number"BREMERTON 300" dates the sticker to the days before we dialed phone numbers directly. I would guess the trunk dates to around the turn of the century. It's made out of wood with metal brackets and rivets. Black laminate on the outside. Blue and white paper covering the inside. Measures 30 1/2" long by 18 wide by 19 1/4" tall on the outside. Inside dimensions are 29 1/2" long by 16 1/2" wide by 14 1/2" tall. The lid is 3 3/4" tall on the inside. It weighs 26 pounds. Antique Vintage 1930's Lane Salesman Sample Miniature Cedar Chest Trunk Wood Box
This BEAUTIFUL miniature Lane cedar chest is from the 1930's. It still has the key. There is a dent and some scratches on the left side and some scratches where the key has been turned over the years. Other than that the chest is in excellent condition and has beautiful grain pattern. It was made in Altavista. Virginia and was presented by or displayed at Glenn's Furniture& Hardware Co. It still has original tag on bottom. Vintage Steamer Trunk Wood Flat top w/ antique steel wheels Shabby Cottage-chic
Vintage Antique Wooden flat top steamer trunk. It measures more than 34" in length by just over 18" wide and a little more than 21" height and weighs almost 35 lbs. This MidCentury trunk is a stained with dark mahogany stain color and is very sturdy and usable. The Corners are coupled with heavy aluminum edges. and there are typical dings and dents. Scratches and scuffs due to age and use. There is little to no musty smell, at least is not saturated with odor/scent- will spray with Apple Cider vinegar to help neutralize naturally. Not sure of what type of wood- but there are additional carved wood bumpers on outer sides this Shabby Cottage Chic piece~ This trunk is antique and old- and has original small cast-steel wheels. All 4 are present and rolls fine. One hinge that is strong and holds up fine. This old trunk has a leather ... morehandle on right- still usable. left handle is missing and one of the flat top leather straps is split- all others tacked down and seem sturdy enough to use- though you can determine leather condition- Please LOOK at Photos to consider condition. Tons of photos were taken- so if you need to see more- send a message. All the original hardware on this old trunk that it's fairly good working order- center latch does not lock or click closed and one clip closes better than the other. Needs adjustment as desired. This old steamer trunk does have a top tray- It has been lined with old(wallpaper-like) thick paper batting material. The lid to closed compartment of top tray is cracked/crushed a little on the inside/underside of lid. This could be easily repaired. This vintage trunk has been in storage for quite a few years. It's still functional with the lid still opening and closing. I'm not sure if the lock works. I don't have a key for it and didn't want to have it lock on me. The lock is made by eagle lock company of CT. The leather straps are not all there due to its age but the fasteners still work. Antique Old Vintage Kamlee Wood Brass Auto Car Trunk Chest 30" Nice old Kamlee Milwaukee automobile trunk with lots of brass hardware. The trunk is in nice condition for its age. There is wear and age to the outer shell. The old black leather finish could benefit from some good black paste shoe polish? And there are some deeper gouges on the backside of the trunk as shown. The brass lock does not have a key. It is turned into a position so it can not close. Both the brass lock and the latches are marked Eagle Lock Co. The inside is canvas lined and as you can see in the photo's there are lots of stains and wear. No offensive odors. The thick layered leather handles are separating, as shown.
