I assume ... morethey did this so they would know which drawer went with which desk, and does not allude to who made the desk. I got this from my wife's uncles estate. He was 96 when he passed and he got this desk from his parents estate in Spokane Wa. when they passed. It is made from solid oak and on the ends of the top board you can see that the top is tongue and grooved. Very hard to show in the pictures. I don't know tiger oak from quarter sawn oak so you be the judge. There is some what appears to be grey paint on one corner of the top. please see pictures. Someone drove 2 finish nails about 2' long into the top of one of the legs. One leg has a chip out of it at the bottom about the size of a quarter and another leg has a little grey paint at the bottom of one side. See pictures. I have made no attempt to repair. Clean or restore the finish on this desk, it is in the condition it was given me in. All in all this desk is in great vintage condition given its age. Top of desk 36 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" deep and the desk top is 29 1/2" above the floor. Will ship via Greyhound Bus to a station of your choice for you to pick up. Antique Child's desk and chair. Mission Style. Desk measures 21" wide x 13.5" deep x 26.5" tall. Writing surface at 21.5" Chair is 21" tall and the seat is 9.75" wide x 9.875" deep at a height of 10.5" The hutch at the top of the desk measures 16.5" wide x 5" tall x 2.25" deep. The hutch is loosely attached to the desk with a two screws and four short nails. Would work well for displaying dolls or stuffed animals.

The first is a huge wooden drafting table or desk with a slightly slanted front and pen slot(the top does not lift but is slightly sloped) The desk measures approximately 72" or 6' across. 38 1/2" high and 33 1/3" deep and comes in two pieces which are pegged together. The desk has three large functioning drawers across the front, each with a key hole(and no, I don't have the keys) It is in nice condition with great patina, though the top has some staining. I am selling the desk together with an antique Mission oak style pool hall chair. The pieces aren't matched, but they work well together.
