Condition: Wood paneling on back with full boards elsewhere. P ainted black underneath in the interior foot& leg area. Hinges are original. Screws are not. Has lots of patina with cracks and markings abound and opening were original lock once lay. Dimensions: 50" Wide by 42" Tall Rear/36" tall in front by 26" deep. Has a 48" X18" canted/ hinged desk top which opens to a 48" X 25" X 5+" drawer. Has two lower shelving units which are 48" X 8 upper and 48" X 17" lower unit. Weight: Approximately 70 lbs. This beautiful quarter-sawn oak desk(c. 1905) has its original warm tiger oak finish. It’s crafted with the unique notched circle cut-out detailing which is characteristic of furniture from the Arts& Crafts era. Yet the lines have a clean, modern silhouette. The desk is finished on all four sides and can be placed anywhere in a room. The patina-ed copper fittings on the drawers are also original, as well as the label, which is still on the bottom of the desk drawer. It was obviously very well cared for and despite its age, is in very good condition. The piece measures 29” high x 42” wide X 26” deep.

This desk dates back to the early 1900's. It measures 32-1/2" wide x 39" tall(to the flat top of the desk) x 15" deep. It has a little paint splatter on the top and one side but you should be able to get it off. It does not have a key. It is missing one knob and the door won't stay closed on one of the bottom cubby holes. It is in very good condition and is a solid piece. It does not wobble and the tiger oak grain is very nice. Wisconsin about 1905, this Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period desk marked"Pat. 1905" has fascinating features. On the left is a shallow drawer with a tin bottom for metal type. Below is a file drawer with a front that tilts open and the adjustable pusher tilts back for easy access. Six shallow drawers were made for large wooden type and advertizing logos. At the bottom right are two 3x5 card file drawers with pushers. Deep drawers glide smoothly and have dovetailed joints. Brass feet protected the legs when floors were mopped. Richly figured quarter sawn oak has an excellent deep finish. Cast brass hardware is original. But one is slightly different, presumably a replacement. Starting in the center are 3 slots for paper followed by four 3" cubby's for pens. Envelopes, stamps, and more. Underneath the cubby's are two 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" small drawers with metal knob. Also. We are pleased to offer this antique desk. This is a beautiful old desk dating to the early half of the 20th century. The desk is made of solid oak in the Mission. Arts& Crafts style. It is"Stickley" styled with a clean, simple design. The desk top is compromised of 2 planks which provide a generous work space. It has a single center drawer for pens, pencils, etc. Each side features two, open shelves for paper/file storage. The legs are simple and slightly supercede the height of the table top. The desk has wooden buttons which cover the screws/nails. It is in very good antique condition. There is a very slight bow on the top which is neither severe or distracting. There are some minor nicks and dings from use, but again, nothing too obvious or distracting. I am pleased to be offering two great antique Mission oak pieces to make room in our garage. The first is a huge wooden drafting table or desk with a slightly slanted front and pen slot(the top does not lift but is slightly sloped) The desk measures approximately 72" or 6' across. 38 1/2" high and 33 1/3" deep and comes in two pieces which are pegged together. The desk has three large functioning drawers across the front, each with a key hole(and no, I don't have the keys) It is in nice condition with great patina, though the top has some staining. I am selling the desk together with an antique Mission oak style pool hall chair. The pieces aren't matched, but they work well together. Measurement of each section is 12 1/4 inches x 10 1/4 inches, 2 1/4 inches deep- holds standard size office paper. The variations of color in the oak is beautiful. It does stand level.
