This roll-cylinder secretary features a wonderful ... moreheavy carved crest, and dates from the 1880's. It comes with three original shelves that are adjustable behind the wavy glass doors. It has burl walnut panels coming down both sides, heavy crown molded top and a crest with big ball finials on each end. It has a commode base with three drawers and a door. The only thing I don’t like about this cylinder desk is that the finish is light, similar to a cherry, but it is walnut wood. It has the original heavy bold brass hardware, and is in really nice shape. The pull-out writing surface has green felt on it. When you open the double panel cylinder roll, it reveals a simplistic double drawer interior that is simplistic.

This desk measures: Top glass front section: 26" tall x 10" deep x 31 wide. distance between the shelves is: 8" They are equal and are not movable. There are 2 shelves making 3 spaces for books, display items etc. The glass doors swing easily and there is a lock that works with a key( included) The left side has an inside clasp under the top shelf to keep it closed. There were at one time X shaped minions on the glass that still have a faint impression in the glass. May be removable-I never tried. Bottom Desk/drawer section: 39 1/2" tall x 16" deep x 31 1/2" wide. The drawers on the inside are 27 1/2" wide x 6 1/4" high x 13 1/4" deep. Each of the 3 drawers are the same size and all slide freely. Desk section: The swing down desk writing surface that closes to a slant measures 11 1/2" deep ... morex 30 1/4" wide. The hinges are sturdy. There are no underneath bars or braces. The remaining desk surface that is existing that goes in from the fold down section measures 15" deep. There are 2 small drawers. One on either side, the drawer inside dimensions are: 6" x 5 3/4" x 1 1/2" deep They both slide freely. Above each drawer are 2 upright letter sections each measuring 7" deep x 3" wide x 4 3/4" high. There is a flat section between the small drawer/letter sections that measures 9" x 7" deep x 9" wide. Here is a beautiful vintage 8-Drawer Wood Desk. Circa 1940's. I couldn't find a maker's mark- although I didn't look underneath- but it looks a lot like Desks made by Maddox of New York. This Desk is well-built and solid- each Drawer features Dovetail construction. This Desk has an imbedded red Leather Top. With gold detailing, Brass Drawer/Side Handles and a 3/8" thick piece of Glass on top. There are three Drawers on the top- a smaller Drawer on each side and a large Drawer in the middle. Below these top Drawers there are three Drawers on the left side and two Drawers on the right side; the bottom right Drawer is a two-Handled File Drawer. This Desk is in good condition for it's age. But does have various blemishes here and there, including some nicks, scratches, scuffs, dings, stains, etc. Some of the Drawers are ... morea little tight when pulled/pushed in and out and could use some lubrication/wax. Available is a vintage partners desk. We are moving and it is time to down-size. Partners desks have drawers on both sides. This has beautiful detailing to the feet and legs. I don't know the type of wood it is made from. It is good and solid. It was purchased at an estate sale some 40+ years ago. I don't know the year it was made. But it is not new. Here are the measurements: about 65 inches long, about 35 inches wide and about 30 inches tall. The desk comes with a heavy-duty glass top. It does not come with a chair. Thiers a metal sign on it that says robert w. irwin company grand rapids in side one of the drawers it aslo has lots of scrapes scatches some tares, but tares are visible on a couple of the drawers,and im missing one of the knobs, also one knob is broken and thier are 4 screws missing also but i hope you,ll find it desk useful as antique desk are of some value i here im just not a antique kind of person. i liked it because i was able to display my picture under the glass very neat! pickup only.

Vintage MCM Vanity This is a vintage Mid-Century Modern vanity. We believe it is composed wood with a light or blonde colored walnut. But are unable to say with complete certainty. It is marked"Wal. on the back. The 2 pedestals of the desk each feature a set of 3 drawers with fantastic MCM brass-plated pulls. The drawers are composed of solid wood and have sturdy, dovetail construction. There is also a center drawer above the knee-hole with a curved face. There is a piece of plate glass covering the center surface. We found one small chip on the front, under-surface of the glass. The vanity has the following dimensions: Height: With mirror: 66 1/4" Vanity alone: 38" Width: 48 3/8" Depth: 19" Specifics: Height to the top of the center surface: 25 1/4" Height to the top of the side surfaces: 26 1/16" Mirror: ... more40" tall by 38" wide Kneehole: 19 7/8" tall by 21 3/8" wide Center surface(where glass sits) 21" wide by 17" at the deepest point Drawers: All of the pedestal drawers are 9 7/8" wide by 15 3/4" deep. The height of each drawer. Starting with the top and moving down is: 5" 6" 7 1/4" This is in great condition overall with some general signs of age or use. The veneer surface has a slightly bumpy or crackled finish. We are not sure if this is an intentional or if it has become this way with age. There is a large chip on each of the top corners corners of the mirror. We also found paint down one side of the mirror where someone painted the wall without moving the vanity. There is also a drip of paint on the bottom/front of the left door frame. There are some red crayon marks on the interior of the center drawer. We found a few small chips on the veneered corners. These flaws are only noticeable upon close inspection. The vanity has a great overall appearance. Please see pictures for more details. And please ask questions if you have them.
