Here is an antique writing desk with the flip up top. The desk pulls out when the top is open. This can be seen in image 5. It is in overall good shape with great patina. The desk can be used as is. Restored or as a garden table. This would also make a great computer desk. The photos show some of the areas that have scratches, scuffs or cracks. Images 5-7 show the measurements. Image 3 shows some damage to the top when the desk is closed. Image 4 shows that the leg has a piece missing. This is available for local pick-up only. Antique India Flip Top Desk
This desk was imported from India approximately 10 years ago as part of a container load of re-finished furniture. Its age is not exactly known but it is very likely it is over a hundred years old. It is solid wood and in excellent condition. The writing top flips up to a storage area for papers and there are four small drawers. It was most likely part of a country estate in India and was brought to Delhi to to be refurbished in the 90s. The chair is likely from the 1940s and was made in Canada. It likely needs to be recovered but it does seems to go with the desk rather well. The chair and desk are being sold together. This is an Antique Victorian Solid Hardwood Round Dinning Table with a Flip Top That Turns Into a Chair. 47 inches in diameter. Oak Bent Wood Chairs are from the 1920's(or earlier) Chairs have no hardware. All joints are doweled. Chairs were recently professionally refurbished. They were taken apart. Stained, glued and put back together. Finished with a light varnish. Then all had new cane seats made. Total cost was $600. I still have the receipt. Chairs have a very slight teeter. Caps on the bottom of the legs should take care of it. You could also leave it like it is. Table is artisan made and estimated to be much older then the chairs. It has not been refurbished. Tabletop is nice and smooth with desired natural wear. Table is structurally sound with a bit of a wobble. It's never bothered me. If desired. Antique Solid Mahogany Furniture Flip Top Desk Ball Claw Feet Colonial Design
I have here a 100% original. Solid mahogany flip top desk/ secretary. This piece measures 42" tall, 20" deep and 36" wide. It has all of its original hardware, dovetail joint construction, real mahogany backing and hand carved ball and claw feet. This desk has numerous highly detailed and beautifully crafted features: kiln dried and bent wood, brass hardware, 4 large drawers, a center storage compartment, 2 secret slide out storage compartments and pull out supports for the top when it's flipped down. This piece is in overall excellent condition showing only minor ware in some spots. It is exactly as I've found it- it's a little dusty and in need of a cleaning at the buyer's discretion. Child's Antique Oak flip-top School Desk with Ink Well and Pencil or Pen station
Next item is this beautiful child's antique Oak flip-top school desk with Ink Well and Pencil or Pen station in original condition with aged wear. Minor and heavier scratches, nicks, dings, minor chips to the finish and the wood and areas of ink stains and minor paint residue. One of the rubber pads of the flip-top is missing and there are areas of minor surface corrosion to the metal hardware. The desk measures 25-1/2"H x 24"W x 16" front to back and assembled from 3/4" thick pieces of White Oak. From the floor to the bottom of the desk measures 19-3/4" to accommodate a chair no taller than that. This desk is solid. No wobble, wiggle or shake. It was very well made, strong and durable. There are no makers marks. That I can find, anywhere on the desk. The larger glass inkwell seen in the photos is included. It ... morewas the only one I had available that wouldn't tip over or fall through the hole. This is a great decorative item and makes a nice end table with storage too!

Vintage Antique Solid Wood School Desk With Flip Top
Desk is solid wood with original hardware. A few scuff marks of white paint on the side from moving but is otherwise in really great shape. There are some pencil doodles on the bottom of it from some student. This came from Georgia and I believe it is much older than the 1950s but don't know. Top easily opens up from the hinges on the back. Pick up only from the Delray Beach Florida area. Legs are slim and do look pretty modern to me. Would make a great side table or small desk for a child.

Antique Furniture Knoleworth Desk some minor damage to laminate but very fixable 30-1/2 x 17- 1/4 x 37-1/4 high I have some of the pieces of laminate that came off they are in the drawer picture that should make it easier to fix, I tried to show the damage in pictures in any event a real nice usable piece of furniture
