Then it goes down into a barley twist post base and a barley twist center cross brace. It is of European origin and dates from the 1880s. This listing is for a beautiful four drawer Tiger Oak Serpentine dresser. This piece is probably very early 20th century and was lovingly restored by hand to it's original glory. Note: the lock pieces are intact. The upper four knobs are original, I replaced the 4 lowers with acceptable contemporary solid iron pulls( for practicality) There is no veneer on this piece as is often the case with early American serpentine dressers. The fourth pictures shows the dovetail joints, rounded solid oak rails and absence of veneer on the front of the drawer. This is an heirloom quality antique and measures 45" long, by 22" wide by 33" high. Ask any questions- this item is pick up only. It is currently stored in a safe place under heavy drape. Hi this is a great matching mahogany 12 drawer serpentine dresser and mirror in very good used condition. The mirror is a wall mounted mirror and does not attach to the dresser. I am willing to sell the mirror separately for the right price. The dresser is wonderful with a platform base and symmetrical sides with very cool curves. The dresser measures 60 1/4" long 20" deep and 33 1/2" tall. The top is 1 3/8" thick. The side drawers are 19" wide internally and graduated heights. The top is 3" then they get taller by an inch as you go down 4" 5" and 6" on the bottom. The mirror has no chips cracks or breaks and the silver is good and even throughout and it measures approximately 52" by 33 3/4" I am selling this for a friend who has had this in the family a long time and never mounted the ... moremirror over the dresser. The stain on the mirror is a bit darker than the dresser as I believe it was not used and in storage most of the time. We are pleased to offer this pair of Federal style mahogany serpentine Bachelors Chests with 4 drawers each. This pair is circa 1940's and is constructed out of mahogany and mahogany veneer. This has a smaller top drawer with decorative brass pulls and there are three larger drawers below with Hepplewhite style brass hardware. The base has bracket foot and the front corners have reeded columns topped with an applied foliate design. Measurements: 32.5" high x 35" wide x 18" depth at center 17 1/8" depth at corners. There are light surface scratches and dings on both of these as well as some chips to the veneer on the drawer tops. There are also some chips to the veneer on the tops that were filled in.
