This Cedar Desk is in Excellent Condition with very good original patina. The Original leatherette to the Desk slope has been replaced some time ago. Other than this. Up for auction is a vintage pigeon hole industrial mail slot or sorting cabinet or slotted post box in nice condition. It was made of heavy wood and painted many years ago with a gray/green paint. It has 15 slots and there are still remnants of the mail recipients name tags. It measures 24" high x 17.5" wide x 9.5" deep and hangs by two brass hangers on the back. There is wearing of the paint around the edges and some mars commensurate with age. Overall a nice piece of history. This was in my Father's collection of many. Gustav Stickley 732 Desk Pigeon Hole Assembly
Gustav Stickley 732 desk pigeon hole assembly. Retains all the original hardware and pencil holders. Appears to be some kind of cherry wood. No topcoat of any kind. Cabinet makers mark on top in pencil. Doors open and close perfect and all the hardware works fine. This desk was always kept in a heated house and is not a barn find. This assembly would even look good anywhere in the house without the rest of the desk. Other parts of the desk are available as well. One of the lower sides had been snapped off. Just below the tenon, which is why it is being parted out. This desk was a project I was going to rebuild myself but moved and no longer had the necessary equipment to finish. The last pic is of a 732 mark in pencil by the original cabinet maker. The other is the Gustav Stickley hallmark inside a drawer. Shipping will depend on your location ... moreand where I ship from. Vtg Pine 15 Drawer STORAGE CABINET Pigeon Hole Styled Solid wood hand made Amish
A vintage pine 15 drawer storage cabinet purchased by a friend back in the 80s at an Amish fair in central WI. It is in great vintage condition with no breaks or damages and nice simple finish to wood. She added the brass label holders and here husband added some finishing nails into top because they had it hung on wall by resting ends of top over braces and he wanted to make sure the weight didn't pull top off. Drawers are lined with nice paper and it has spool type knobs very common for Amish pieces. It measures 36" long. 16" tall and is 7" deep at farthest points. Shipping will be Greyhound because I like to use an oversized box for extra protection and buyer will have to pick up at nearest station. Any amount beyond actual shipping cost is refunded to buyer. The only"drawer" on the piece is the one on the upper left corner with the lock which you push in to move the additional front pieces to the left or up or down to get access to other pigeon holes. UNIQUE vintage OAK CABINET with 62 pigeon holes Beautiful. Heavy, sturdy old oak cabinet that dates in the early 1900s range. My husband and I are not really sure what the original purpose of this cabinet was, but we have a few guesses. It has 62 pigeon holes and most still have the numbers above them-just paper and tape some have fallen off already so they can easily be removed. If you notice the insides of the pigeon holes are dusty.sorry I didn't clean them! We were thinking that this belonged to a hotel or apartment building.maybe for keys?this is all a guess though. I thought it could possibly have been used in a small town post office. If you know, we would love to know too! As you can see by the photos, the pigeon holes are in 3 removeable sections. At first I thought they may not be original, but they fit perfectly and I found ... morematching writing to the railroad tag inside(last 2 pics) Pittsburgh& Lake Erie Railroad" tag has"Room 331" written on it and in last pic you can see hand written on one of the sections is"Room 307-P.L.E. Pittsburgh Lake Erie)this is found on 2 of the 3 sections. The pigeon holes are made with pieces of metal that can be slid out to form a different size hole, as seen in pic 10. The size of the holes as is-top section 3 1/4 across x 3 1/2 inches tall. 2 bottom sections-2 3/4 inches across x 3 1/2 inches tall. So the bottom 2 sections pigeon holes are a bit smaller than the top. All holes are the full length of the section deep, does not stop short. The very bottom section is missing its metal dividers. The cabinet door latches fine, but there is no key to lock it. Cabinet is in good condition for age-a couple marks here and there, but I used all the photos so you can check condition for yourself. Total the cabinet measures approx. 20 inches across front 26 inches deep and 55 inches tall. EXCELLENT item.endless uses!wine rack. Here is a nice Japanese cloisonné vase. Made of copper, silver plate and enamel. This vase measures 7 1/8th inches high, 3 3/4 inches wide, base is 2 1/2 inches and the mouth is 2 3/4 inches. There is no damage to the surface of the vase, has nice inlaid peony flowers and no cracks or chips. The major thing is the hole in the bottom, it was punched to make a lamp out of it, which I took apart, the lamp parts were wore.

SOLID MAHOGANY S&Tdrop front desk brass key/pigeon hole tongue/grouve antique
This auction is for an antique SOLID MAHOGANY slant drop top desk. It has all sold wood drawers mahogany on all sides bottom with tongue and groove fitting etc. It has a good finish on most parts and there is only a few spot that have some minor damage. The screws for the sliding hinge on the left side need to be repaired but since this desk top was made too be held with only one hinge it is still solid. There are 3 brass keyhole locks. There are 6 drawers 2 in the desk and 4 on the outside. In the one drawer there is a sticker that says this piece of furniture is made of SOLID MAHOGANY and there is a shield symbol with a S&T trademark including a symbol of a tree and a dresser. I haven't found out who the manufacturer is. There are pigeon holes for storing letters misc in the desk. The solid brass pulls are all there. This desk isn't ... morethat heavy 75 lbs so it could be shipped by Greyhound or if you want by Fedex a lot more expensive. The size is 44x22x34" with the top down the writing area is at 30" high.
