RARE Circa 1870's French Brass Continental Microscope Constant Vérick E Hartnack
Vérick brass continental microscope– circa 1870's Constant Vérick advertised himself as a élève spécial de E. Hartnack(special pupil of E. Hartnack) both in the signatures he used for some of his instruments and in his catalogs. He apprenticed to Edmund Hartnack before going off on his own around 1877. By the mid 1870's he established his own firm where a number of different microscope models were produced. Among which is the continental style model presented here. The base of this meticulously constructed instrument is signed in elegant script, C. Vérick, élève special de E. Hartnack, rue de la Parcheminerie, 2, Paris" Please view photos carefully as they are a part of the description of this item. The original wooden case ha some cracks. It does however have the original key and working ... morelock. I believe there may have been a small mirror or lens that attached to the clip but I am not sure. Other than that I think everything else is here and there may even be a few extras that did not originally come with this microscope. The matching serial number on the wooden case and the microscope itself is#2754. This is a pretty low number.

★Antique Vintage Leitz Continental Brass Microscope w/Case Darkfield Condenser★
You are looking at an old Leitz microscope. It works fine. But one of the lenses is missing a part, and the condenser bracket no longer moves up and down freely[oil or repair? The stage is in like new condition, but missing the clips, and most of the brass and paint is in excellent condition. I bought it used for a deal because I needed a number three lens for a folding scope of similar vintage, which I swapped for a B& L lens of low power. I have what I need for homeschooling now, so I thought I would pass it on to the next person. I will listing some more microscope parts and accessories I am not going to use very shortly. The case was repaired by the previous owner and has a key; he inside is nice, but he outside is ugly; apparently, the scope was kept inside in climate control on a bookshelf and the case was stored in an attic for ... moremany years.

Antique Bausch and Lomb Brass Continental Microscope With Box Extras 1903
Bausch and Lomb continental microscope circa 1903. This has a fully adjustable slide manipulator. There is wear to the plating on the manipulator. There is an adjustment knob broken off the the side on the manipulator. It is present though. The large dial on top of the main shaft is loose and not connected to anything. It currently does not adjust anything. The lever to tilt the microscope is stuck. I did not want to force it and risk breaking the handle. All other knobs and adjustments appear to be working. This has three eye pieces; 7.5. 1 and 2. There are three objectives; 2/3. 1/6 and 1/12. All three have brass storage containers. The mirror is plano and concave. The box is locked and the latch has been pulled out of the door. The only damage is the screw holes are stripped. There are many photos. Be sure and scroll all the way done. ... moreThis is not something I know a lot about so ask any questions you may have. Approximately 7 3/4" deep. 5 1/4" wide and 12 1/2" tall when fully lowered. 1897 Antique BAUSCH & LOMB Brass Continental Microscope w/ Case and Extra's
Here's really nice BAUSCH& LOMB Antique Microscope that has its Original Wood Case. I don't collect microscopes. But mainly collect and sell radios. I bought this at a Radio Swap in Michigan about 6 years ago, because of its excellent condition and impressive look. I can tell you what I know. Engraved on one of the feet is Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester, N.Y. On the base at the top rear is stamped 36832. The base appears to be Solid Brass with some kind of Bone or Ivory Locking Adjustment Arm/Handle. It has 3 Objective Lens, which are marked(1) 1mm, 1/12, 1.32 N.A. 160.0mm Tube Length, 2) 2/3, 0.24 N.A. 160.0mm Tube Length, and(3) 4mm, 0.65, 43x, 2/3. The Microscope is stamped Pat. Feb. 16. 1897. There 2 Eye Pieces which are marked 1. The Objective Lens have Storage Containers, with the size stamped on top, and seem to ... morematch the lens. Everything appears to be in good shape and operates and moves smoothly. Case appears to be Mahogany, locks and has the Key. I don't know a lot, but will try to answer any questions you may have. Would be a nice addition to any Microscope Collection, and a great piece of history! FREE Shipping& Insurance with Buy It Now within the CONUS. Refund will be done with Paypal. Thanks for looking!

Antique pocket size Brass Microscope, 1800s," The Continental".
I believe this is from the 1800s and wonder how it was used. It is awkward to use and is more a curio then a useful tool. The original directions are included. the booklet states that it's from Chicago but made in Japan. Good luck bidding and no returns on this item unless it has been misrepresented.
