Stately presentation piece! This appears to be an early example of the bar-limb design first pioneered by Andrew Ross. As might be expected with a mechanical antique of this age. It is not in perfect, complete condition. Descriptions can sometimes be subjective. And details/ condition of mechanical antiques difficult to capture in photos. While I am passionate about antique microscopes and enjoy hanging onto them briefly as a hobby/ admirer. I am not able to yet call myself an expert so please review as well, and do not hesitate to ask questions/ request more photos.
