This is an 1885 No# 7846 period original Carl Zeiss microscope with a original Zeiss objective.And original cases for the other objectives, but there are a boush& lomb that has spidered glass, and a Spencer that is clear, with two tips only in the Carl Zeiss brass cases. So the microscope is complete, but the original objective are missing. except the original in the scope,which is in great shape so in that respect the microscope is original and complete.

Has three lens head, one is marked Bausch& Lomb, another marked SPI? PSI? This one has an electric lamp fixture, side mounted. Including electric power corded transformer and plugs. NOTE the Transformator made in Germany has bad cord. Cord has cracked and dry rotted from storage. This would need replaced. NOT TESTED. Item is SOLD AS IS, AS FOUND. All the knobs and dials are free and smooth moving. I used a flashlight and can see some light thru the lens at top. Marked C 12.5x. The square slide platform has an adjustment piece No. 48907, triple lens mount is marked 25155. I assume this will need a good cleaning, oil perhaps. May need some restoration or parts

The lacquer over-coat often get's discoloration over time in spots and patches from human handling. But these areas can be buffed out to an absolutely fantastic- incredible"Golden, shine or even a mirror polish if you want to take the time to do that. Scope works. Focus and Fine Focus work, Mirror spins and revolves, Diaphragm blades open and close easily and look very good, lower stage goes up and down smoothly, tilt works fine, turret revolves just fine. M issing are the 2 hold down pins. To hold a glass slide in place, but these are usually long gone from these Antique Scopes. Side screws for adjustments on either side of the table maybe bent from falling over, or may have come that way, as they match pretty well( I am not sure how perfect any of the lenses are. nice old vintage carl zeiss all brass microscope. this microscope has japaning on parts but is brass underneath. needs a good cleaning. dust in tight places. all adjustments seem to work fine. label on front is partially missing. does have some minor scratches here and there and couple small spots where finish is worn off. none the less a great old find. does not have box or any accessories. stamped Carl Zeiss Jena No 32892 on front.

Antique brass Carl Zeiss Jena No. 26267 microscope. This is straight from an estate. I know nothing about these microscopes so I'm relying on the pictures and any questions you may ask. Its being sold as is for parts or restoration. Picture 9 shows a couple of damaged pieces. One of them has an inner ring that is chipped. And the other piece is bent. May have some pieces missing that I wouldn't know are suppose to be there, so please take a close look at photos, and ask questions. The eye piece is marked B& L Opt. Co. U.S.A. This antique microscope is solid brass. Model number and maker on front. Please Look at All Pics. For desription. There is two spencer/ baush and lomb lense. Shutter rolls open. plate moves underneath. Scope goes up and down missing glass. I have tried to show a curate pics. Email me if I am missing something or u have questions. Measures 23 1/2 at highest on scope. Screw on shutter has bend although operates smooth so not sure if it's suppose to be that way. The scope doesn't have the smoothest movement when compared to slide movement and has a fall at bottom. tightening and cleaning? Not sure just being honest because I am unfamiliar with mechanics on these.

The lens is clear and screws off. The refractive prism is in place. The body is hinged but I could not figure out how to open it. The rubber hose is cracking. A very rare and cool brass microscope by Carl Zeiss Jena. I believe. Only name marking I can find on microscope, along with M. 129. Model#129 shows it was early production for the model. Shows signs of oxidation. Overall pretty good condition. Has the"look through" eye lenses. But no lower lenses. Microscope tilts, has 2 removable pieces, focusing wheels turn.
