German Otto Seibert Microscope Made in the 1920s. Original Wooden Case. In Working Order Striking German microscope made by company Otto Seibert from Wetzlar in the 1920s. This beautiful and functional vintage instrument draws our attention because of its excellent condition and working order. The item is made of black enameled iron and brass part. Boasting a nice and sober design that is enhanced by its undeniable functionality. At the top, just under the eyepiece we can see a silvery metal plate with the engraved manufacturer’s name and serial number 2498. This particular microscope has also a white label with the name Felix Kunze, and a monogram formed by this name’s initials. It is attached to the sample plate. This amazing instrument has a quadruple nosepiece(one of the lenses is quite small in size) and a micrometric system in the sample plate. This system has two screws that move the glass plates in the fore and aft directions. And from left to right too. This way the user can put the sample plate in the right place with no need of touching it with his or her fingers. As stated before, the microscope is stored in its original wooden case and comes with several vintage samples in a cardboard box. This incredible Seibert microscope is a witness to contemporary science’s history. It

*GERMAN Antique BRASS & Iron ARGUS 606 MICROSCOPE in Original WOOD BOX Germany
An antique"Argus Nr. 606" Brass Microscope. 6 3/4" high, made in Germany and housed in its original wood box, 2 3/4" x 8 9/16" x 2 1/2" high, with original hook closures. There's a paper label inside the box with some information but I don't see any maker's mark on the Microscope. GERMANY" is impressed into the 2" diameter iron base. The top section can be adjusted up and down and can also be removed from the bottom section. Condition. In good condition overall. I didn't polish the brass but left it as found. The surface of the adjustable mirror is in good condition with some oxidation across the middle section that doesn't seem to interfere with reflecting light into the Microscope. The top and bottom glass lenses are in good condition with no scratches. There is an old short closed ... morecrack in the bottom section of the brass band above the section that holds the slide that can be seen in one of the side view photos of the Microscope(as the Microscope front faces to the right) This part doesn't hold the top section in place so it doesn't affect the use of the Microscope in any way. There are NO slides with this Microscope although there is space for 4 slides in the box. Shipping weight of carefully wrapped package. 3 pounds Buyer pays shipping. I usually ship the day after I receive the email from PayPal confirming your payment to PayPal. If I receive the confirmation email from PayPal on a Friday or a weekend I ship the following Monday. Antique Small Microscope in Wood Case No Makers Mark (German, Late 1800s?)
Antique Small Microscope in Wood Case No Makers Mark(German. Late 1800s) Note: All items in our store include NO sales tax to our US customers! Here is a great piece for your buying consideration. Recently picked it up at an auction. Interesting piece. In both the way it is made, the size and the case it came in. The microscope has a black painted metal base, specimen plate, and stand. The scope and adjusting screw are brass. The case has a label on it that says the piece is circa 1920. A label on the bottom of the scope says"German" on it. Another piece of paper that came with it attributed the scope to being German and from around 1870. You be the judge of how old this piece is and where it was made prior to buying it. The one sided mirror looks intact. The lens in the eye end and the other end appear to be there. Cannot speak ... moreto their condition as not an expert of microscopes. I see no makers mark on the scope. But it definitely seems to have some age to it. The case is made of wood. The latch and screw hooks are still on the case. Hinges still there and working. The case is 2.75 tall, by 8-1/16" across, by 3.75" wide. The case corner are doweled together. The case seems to be appropriate for the scope. The microscope is 7.25" tall. By 2.25" across, by 3`" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don’t be shy to make an offer. I am always open to reasonable suggestions. Also, if you purchase this piece at the Buy It Now price, we are offering free shipping within the continental USA. Antique German W. Klein Wetzlar, Microscope With WWII Capture Papers, WW2 Optic
Here is a beautiful German made W. Klein Wetzlar Microscope that was brought back by a Vet in WWII. I have the capture papers TWO(2) of the papers, this microscope is in excellent condition with an extra glass piece that goes on the bottom, very little if any paint loss, works smooth as silk, this is not a cheap item, it is very heavy and very well made out of steel, about 12" tall and comes in the original wood box with some extras, would make a great WWII collectible or use it for what it is as it works great, crystal clear, $15 shipping as this thing again is very heavy, any questions please ask, James Davis, 330-468-0676

Antique German DRGM Field & Classroom Microscope NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX
Antique German DRGM Field& Classroom Microscope This is a wonderful old German-made brass and steel microscope that probably dates to about 1880 or so and is still in brand-new condition just the way it came a hundred and some years ago in its original box. The original box is a two-part 1-½ x 2-¾ x 4 inch maroon covered chipboard box with the original label on the bottom. The original label shows it as Nr. 1290/7 and with a penciled in price of 3- don’t know if that is German Marks or Dollars) The microscope itself consists of a brass tube and brass eye piece 1-⅜ inches in diameter by about 2 inches long. The eye piece is removable and below it is a spring-loaded brass slide holder so that slides can be inserted from either side and held securely in place. The brass tube is held in place in a bent iron wire fixture which also ... moreholds a swiveling. Tilting mirror. The back of the mirror is stamped with the letters DRGM for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster which means roughly Patent Pending. The microscope and stand as you see them in our pictures fit in the large compartment of the maroon box. There is a small compartment in the box which was apparently meant to hold glass slides. Very fine condition. We live in the Black Hills of South Dakota. One of the richest gold mining areas on earth. The gold mining era began with the General Custer Expedition in the mid 1870s and we suspect but can not prove that this might have been a scientific instrument offered to miners here after the discovery of gold. Antique Vintage German Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Brass Microscope #2
Antique German brass microscope. Marked E. Leitz Wetzlar Germany No. 250088 Very good condition; I do not see anything wrong with it. No scratches, dents or damage that I can see. It came from the estate of a doctor who had a large collection of microscopes. This was on a shelf in his home library. It appears to have been well taken care of. As to whether it is in working condition. My best guess is that it probably is functional, considering where it came from and how it was stored and displayed. I am not a science person, nor an expert on microscopes, and only remember how to use one from high school science classes, but from what I can see, it is in very good to excellent condition, and all the knobs rotate freely and easily. Bausch & Lomb Microscope w/ Leitz Wetzlar German Lens Vtg antique Lab leica
Bausch& Lomb Microscope w/ Leitz Wetzlar German Lens Vtg Science Lab 304637 is on the front of the barrel. That might be a serial number. The unit comes with what is shown. I’ve taken swell pictures that should answer many of your questions. If you have more questions ask. The machine moved fluidly. The lenses are free of fungus but do have dust on them. Also notice the slide clips are MIA.
