German Otto Seibert Microscope Made in the 1920s. Original Wooden Case. In Working Order Striking German microscope made by company Otto Seibert from Wetzlar in the 1920s. This beautiful and functional vintage instrument draws our attention because of its excellent condition and working order. It comes in its original wooden case with lock and key and comes with a set of samples and accessories from the era. All the microscope’s components and parts are original and in great condition. The item is made of black enameled iron and brass part. Boasting a nice and sober design that is enhanced by its undeniable functionality. At the top, just under the eyepiece we can see a silvery metal plate with the engraved manufacturer’s name and serial number 2498. This particular microscope has also a white label with the name Felix Kunze, and a monogram formed by this name’s initials. It is attached to the sample plate. This amazing instrument has a quadruple nosepiece(one of the lenses is quite small in size) and a micrometric system in the sample plate. This system has two screws that move the glass plates in the fore and aft directions. And from left to right too. This way the user can put the sample plate in the right place with no need of touching it with his or her fingers. As stated before, the microscope is stored in its original wooden case and comes with several vintage samples in a cardboard box. This incredible Seibert microscope is a witness to contemporary science’s history. It

Around the edge of the lens its marked Koehler's Commerical Wide Angle 6 1/2 X 8 1/2 and on the outer edge its marked Germany. The whole lens is almost 2 1/4 inches wide. For sale is a hard to find antique German model microscope manufactured by Reichert-Wein. It is numbered 14522 and comes in it's original oak dove-tailed wooden box. It comes with the original Skeleton key as well. The top of the box has a slide out top that has additional lenses. There is a side side out box that contains round glass slides. As I can see the RED GREEN AND BLUE PIXELS on my computer screen PERFECTLY! Optics are dusty. Honestly, I am amazed at clarity. It is amazing! The brass optics slide and adjust for focusing. The reflector is intact. It needs a new home! I will ship this item FREE FREIGHT IN THE USA.
An antique"Argus Nr. 606" Brass Microscope. 6 3/4" high, made in Germany and housed in its original wood box, 2 3/4" x 8 9/16" x 2 1/2" high, with original hook closures. There's a paper label inside the box with some information but I don't see any maker's mark on the Microscope. GERMANY" is impressed into the 2" diameter iron base. The top section can be adjusted up and down and can also be removed from the bottom section. Condition. In good condition overall. I didn't polish the brass but left it as found. The surface of the adjustable mirror is in good condition with some oxidation across the middle section that doesn't seem to interfere with reflecting light into the Microscope. The top and bottom glass lenses are in good condition with no scratches. There is an old short closed ... morecrack in the bottom section of the brass band above the section that holds the slide that can be seen in one of the side view photos of the Microscope(as the Microscope front faces to the right) This part doesn't hold the top section in place so it doesn't affect the use of the Microscope in any way. There are NO slides with this Microscope although there is space for 4 slides in the box. Shipping weight of carefully wrapped package. 3 pounds Buyer pays shipping. I usually ship the day after I receive the email from PayPal confirming your payment to PayPal. If I receive the confirmation email from PayPal on a Friday or a weekend I ship the following Monday. Antique Small Microscope in Wood Case No Makers Mark(German. Late 1800s) Note: All items in our store include NO sales tax to our US customers! Here is a great piece for your buying consideration. Recently picked it up at an auction. Interesting piece. In both the way it is made, the size and the case it came in. The microscope has a black painted metal base, specimen plate, and stand. The scope and adjusting screw are brass. The case has a label on it that says the piece is circa 1920. A label on the bottom of the scope says"German" on it. Another piece of paper that came with it attributed the scope to being German and from around 1870. You be the judge of how old this piece is and where it was made prior to buying it. The one sided mirror looks intact. The lens in the eye end and the other end appear to be there. Cannot speak ... moreto their condition as not an expert of microscopes. I see no makers mark on the scope. But it definitely seems to have some age to it. The case is made of wood. The latch and screw hooks are still on the case. Hinges still there and working. The case is 2.75 tall, by 8-1/16" across, by 3.75" wide. The case corner are doweled together. The case seems to be appropriate for the scope. The microscope is 7.25" tall. By 2.25" across, by 3`" wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don’t be shy to make an offer. I am always open to reasonable suggestions. Both because of its excellent condition and working order, and the complete set of accessories that comes with it. The transparent lacquer that protects the polished brass is the original one and its great condition draws our attention: it only shows very slight signs of the trace of time in concrete points that do not reach the metal. This detail does not interfere at all with the instrument’s operation or its impressive look; indeed, it is a nice sign of the item’s ancient age and authenticity. The microscope has a black iron base and a top part composed of polished brass mobile parts. This instrument was manufactured by Busch. A company founded by ... moreHans Busch(1884-1873) a German physicist who is considered the‘father’ of the electron microscope. The turret bears the name BUSCH engraved in the metal, and just below rest the word Rathenow and the serial number 13778. Rathenow is a German city with a great tradition of microscope manufacturing. This industry began in the late 1700s and remains active nowadays. After World War II the East Germany government took over the factory and it merged into a public company that changed its name several name. The factory supplied the supplied the East German Carl Zeiss Jena company for about 30 years. The microscope has a three-lens revolving nosepiece. All of them signed by Busch with the smart logo of the firm. It keeps all the original component parts in excellent working order and it is a real pleasure to work with this instrument. The article comes with a complete set of accessories, including lenses with brass sleeves and eyepieces. All of them come into the original box, made of nice solid oak wood and in impeccable condition. The box keeps the original lock and key. Inside the case there is a printed paper sheet with information about the eyepieces and a handwritten sheet

Schutz A.G. Cassel ANTIQUE GERMAN MICROSCOPE In Original Wooden Box that is stamped GERMANY( Very Faintly) The Bottom of the Microscope is stamped GERMANY This belonged to my Grand Father
Some wear on the mirror but otherwise in great shape. Looks to be late 1800's to early 1900's but there is no marking of the maker or date. There is a mark that says German on the slide prong.
Here is a beautiful German made W. Klein Wetzlar Microscope that was brought back by a Vet in WWII. I have the capture papers TWO(2) of the papers, this microscope is in excellent condition with an extra glass piece that goes on the bottom, very little if any paint loss, works smooth as silk, this is not a cheap item, it is very heavy and very well made out of steel, about 12" tall and comes in the original wood box with some extras, would make a great WWII collectible or use it for what it is as it works great, crystal clear, $15 shipping as this thing again is very heavy, any questions please ask, James Davis, 330-468-0676

Early 1900s German Pocket Microscope. In original box with some age to it. No year or maker on box or microscope. Microscope has a plastic eye piece and brace body. When researched I couldn't find this specific model but the ones I found were from 1900. 1903, and 1915. Closest matches were found on: microscope-antiques.com There is some writing on the top of the box but is too faded to read.

Antique German DRGM Field& Classroom Microscope This is a wonderful old German-made brass and steel microscope that probably dates to about 1880 or so and is still in brand-new condition just the way it came a hundred and some years ago in its original box. The original box is a two-part 1-½ x 2-¾ x 4 inch maroon covered chipboard box with the original label on the bottom. The original label shows it as Nr. 1290/7 and with a penciled in price of 3- don’t know if that is German Marks or Dollars) The microscope itself consists of a brass tube and brass eye piece 1-⅜ inches in diameter by about 2 inches long. The eye piece is removable and below it is a spring-loaded brass slide holder so that slides can be inserted from either side and held securely in place. The brass tube is held in place in a bent iron wire fixture which also ... moreholds a swiveling. Tilting mirror. The back of the mirror is stamped with the letters DRGM for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster which means roughly Patent Pending. The microscope and stand as you see them in our pictures fit in the large compartment of the maroon box. There is a small compartment in the box which was apparently meant to hold glass slides. Very fine condition. We live in the Black Hills of South Dakota. One of the richest gold mining areas on earth. The gold mining era began with the General Custer Expedition in the mid 1870s and we suspect but can not prove that this might have been a scientific instrument offered to miners here after the discovery of gold. Antique German brass microscope. Marked E. Leitz Wetzlar Germany No. 250088 Very good condition; I do not see anything wrong with it. No scratches, dents or damage that I can see. It came from the estate of a doctor who had a large collection of microscopes. This was on a shelf in his home library. It appears to have been well taken care of. As to whether it is in working condition. My best guess is that it probably is functional, considering where it came from and how it was stored and displayed. I am not a science person, nor an expert on microscopes, and only remember how to use one from high school science classes, but from what I can see, it is in very good to excellent condition, and all the knobs rotate freely and easily. It is heavy and weighs about 8 1/2 lbs. Please see photos and feel free to contact me if you have questions. I ... morepack carefully and usually ship on the next business day after payment clears. First let me be clear that even though this is probably the most beautiful microscope I have ever seen it does have two issues. 1- The eye piece is missing 2- the Brass lifting rack and pinion is worn and slips. It does work but in some spots needs some help lifting. Other than that this piece looks like it came out of an old movie.
