Here is a rare binocular microscope by Spencer. It was made in 1925. It has a heavy SOLID BRONZE base and spine body. It has an antique Apochromat lens. A used apochromat lens today costs around 3000.00. An apochromat lens has better corrction of chromatic aberration. Chromatic aberration is the phenomenon of different colors focusing at different distances from a lens. Apochromatic lenses are designed to bring three wavelengths(typically red. Green, and blue) into focus in the same plane. The case has an upholsterd fet lined drawer that holds the binocular head and all its accessories. In other words, this is the best microscope that can be found in 1925! Its fitted with a Leitz Wetzlar mechanical stage. Binocular eyepiece can be adjusted wider or narrower. There are levers on each side of each eyepiece that covers one eye or the other. Every ... moresingle moving part moves freely. Clear shap mangnification. Just put on your specimen and enjoy! In my years of collecting, I have only had one other SOLID BRONZE microscope with all the bells and whistles. Shipping and handling includes FULL INSURANCE!
ANTIQUE DOCTORS MEDICAL MICROSCOPE. ITS A BAUSCH& LOMB MODEL NO. 4887. CAST IRON WITH CRYSTAL PRISMS. VERY UNUSAL AND DIFFERENT. YOU CAN MOVE THE COVERING OVER THE PRISMS UP AND DOWN. PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS TO SEE WHAT ALL COMES WITH THIS AND THE CONDITION.
THIS IS AN OLD MEDICAL MICROSCOPE FROM A DOCTORS OFFICE. I AM NOT SEEING ANY NAME ON THE MICROSCOPE BUT THE PAPERS INSIDE THE BOX IDENTIFY IT AS A FOTH MICROSCOPE. MODEL A. THE PAPER TELLS HOW TO USE IT. THE BASE ON THIS MICROSCOPE IS VERY HEAVY SO I THINK IT MAY BE CAST IRON OR VERY HEAVY MATERIAL OF SOME SORT. THIS MEASURES 10 INCHES TALL. IT IS IN A REALLY NEAT OLD WOODEN CRATE BOX THAT IT CAME IN.
Gorgeous and it works great. Put on a slide and you're ready to magnify. Has one of the clearest and brightest magnifications! Leitz invented the Leica camera lens.Very high quality lenses. Makes an excellent gift for the medical professional or just enjoy it yourself! Will be fully insured.

Antique early 20th Century C. Reichert Wein medical microscope. Reichert started their company in Vienna in 1876. My research tells me this is pre 1920. However I am no expert. The microscope has a serial number and the original oak dove tailed box has the same matching number as well. The back of the box is missing but would be a simple fix. The overall condition is very nice and appears to have all its parts as shown in the photos. All working parts are functional. It is a very unique and rare piece of medical history and displays very well. Easily could be cleaned and polished and it would look like new. This was a donation to our local Church Thrift Store and all money will be used to help people in need here in Brevard County Florida. Please view all photos closely as they are part of the description. This item will be shipped free to ... moreUS buyers only and will include insurance and will need to be signed for at your local Post Office. Nice wooden Antique Microscope box with lens cases and key to lock the box. The lock works; the inside of the box is in very good condition; the outside of the box has some wear. The bronze lens holders say E. Leitz Wetzler on them so I am assuming this is the type of microscope that fit into this box. There is a number on it: 62052. It stands 16" tall; is 8" wide; Looks like mahogany wood; brass handle; INTERESTING: There is a microscope lens attached with tape to the inside door of the box; it says"flea from rat" on it!

Very Early Micro Scope circa 1800s? The microscope is made of wood and metal. The base is wood.about 6" long and 3 1/2" wide.maybe a 1/4" thick. A stamped metal ornate frame is nailed to the wooden base. The ornate frame holds a lense that allows focus on the viewing slide. Also attached to the wooden base is a mound that is encased in metal. I think it was the place that a candle or other source of light would have been placed so the item on the slide could be viewed. The metal frame is about 6" high. That's about all I know.I do believe that this is a very special item for those collecting early scientific or medical equipment. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions please email me and I'll answer as best I can. The bidding is started at $1.00 with $10.00 S&H. Please use PayPal to make the purchase ... moreif you are the lucky high bidder. Good Luck.

This is one of the most unique items I've ever come across in my business as an estate liquidator. This is a solid mahogany lab case which would've been used back in the very early 1900's. Based on some of the design elements it appears that this case would have been used to store slides for a microscope. But. It is so well made and so functional that today it can be used to hold anything- money, jewelry, valuables; just about anything. The lid flips open to reveal a top storage area- the divider lifts out. Then there's a hatch that runs about 2/3 up the right side- open the hatch to reveal a nice little storage area. When the hatch is open you can then swing out 4 small drawers/ storage compartments. These compartments will only swing out when the hatch is open. The hatch closes tightly to keep the compartments firmly in ... moreplace. The dividers in each compartment are all original- see photos. All of the hardware- pulls. Hinges, top handle, etc- are solid brass and all original. There's a label at the top center which reads: Will Corporation- Laboratory Supplies and Chemicals" I've been recently informed that this may have been used by a dentist to hold and carry his equipment. Whatever it's actual intended use was. This is a very unique piece. This piece measures 10" tall. 6" deep and 9" wide. Buy with confidence- this is an absolutely gorgeous antique case!
