Zeiss microscope? substage color filter assembly original box Carl Zeiss Jena We offer an original Zeiss accessory which we believe is for a microscope. Apparently a substage colored filter assembly, with the inside of the bottom of the base is screw threaded and not press-fit. There are 6 different colors in the revolving disk. The spring that effectively is used as a stop looks to have had some re-bending work done to it so there is some minor wear there. The piece is also marked Carl Zeiss Jena Nr 3207. Case is in pretty good shape although the leather is starting to stiffen up. Diameter of the circle with threads is about 1 inch. Threads are on the inside. Not the outside. Zeiss made some of the best optics in the world and still does. All of their work was quality made. Please see photos for condition and some content. Please note that ... morethe watermark does not appear in the actual item. Unique, Retro, Vintage, Antique, etc. They are usually old pieces or even new items in original boxes which could show little or substantial shelf wear. With the multitude of items I find, many may have minor imperfections, e.g. bubbles in blown glass, light wear, small flaws, Artist’s molds, marks, flares, discrepancies in patterns and cuts. There are instances that some of these imperfections are done intentionally by the Artist. I do not point out these flaws or imperfections unless the quality of the item is affected. Vintage CARL ZEISS GERMANY Microscope for Lenses / Spectacles
This vintage CARL ZEISS microscope was manufactured around 1950 in Germany. This instrument is 11 1/2-inches high and sits on a round 6 1/4-inch base. It was designed to check the quality if lenses for eyeglasses/spectacles after manufacture. It comes equipped with a built-in. Working illumination system. The adjustment that controls the 8-inch horizontal plate is calibrated in millimeters. When viewing, the image has cross-hairs superimposed on a 0 to 180-degree semi-circular scale. With the light turned on, a circle of small green dots sits on top of the center of the cross-hairs, and a small illuminated circle appears with another scale from 0 to +25 and 0 to-25. The larger adjustment controls the focus and the illuminated circle setting. The smaller adjustment turns the circle scale on and off. When the green circle of dots is sharp, ... morethe circle scale reads zero. Its manufacturing plate is stamped"CARL ZEISS 312576 GERMANY. This instrument is in very good condition; there are no dents, cracks or repairs to the body and the knurled rings are without damage. The optics are sharp for the images I described, but I have no way of testing it with a lens(see all photographs) It comes as pictured. Carl Zeiss Jena Vintage Binocular Dissection Autopsy Scope w/original wood case
I estimate these were made late 1890's to 1920. I collect antique opera glasses so I dont know a lot about this particular instrument. Any info that someone would like to share would be appreciated. I have been told this is an autopsy and/or dissection microscope by a couple of dr types. I just dont know. It is binocular with roof prism columns that remind me of the Teleater opera glasses in my collection. Fully adjustable as they each swivel well over 180 degrees[see pics] Eyepieces and frame are clearly marked Carl Zeiss Jena. 12.5x magnification on the fully adjustable and replaceable oculars with bottom[also replaceable] lenses marked 1 1/4. Seral number Nn280872. Oculars marked: B12.5X XII with carl zeiss. Jena logo. Everything except the illumination light works well. It looks like it plugged into a transformer or battery pack of ... moresome sort and the wiring is quite poor. Original bulb. Shield, etc. Possibly a field scope of some kind. Vertical adjustment is a bit tight at the bottom. lenses are dirty but I can see no cracks or dings. Original dovetailed case is absolutely solid with original key in the lock. Great protection. Paperwork on the side of the case seems to indicate it was shipped to Memphis toward the end of WW2 by a Capt A.H. Chamberlain to his wife. Neat side note. I will pack it very well and ship via US Postal Service. Insured for full value. Shipping weight of 15 pounds packed. Flate rate to anywhere in the USA is $30.00. If it costs more I will pay it, if it costs less I will refund the difference. Make an offer. Worse I will ever say is no thanks! NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING Thanks for looking!

I know little about this scientific equipment. Stored in a local home for years. I would say circa 1930s era. Maybe earlier with later fixtures. No. 282859, Germany, Overall height is 12.5 inches. Has three lens head, one is marked Bausch& Lomb, another marked SPI? PSI? This one has an electric lamp fixture, side mounted. Including electric power corded transformer and plugs. NOTE the Transformator made in Germany has bad cord. Cord has cracked and dry rotted from storage. This would need replaced. NOT TESTED. Item is SOLD AS IS, AS FOUND. All the knobs and dials are free and smooth moving. I used a flashlight and can see some light thru the lens at top. Marked C 12.5x. The square slide platform has an adjustment piece No. 48907, triple lens mount is marked 25155. I assume this will need a good cleaning, oil perhaps. May need some restoration or parts

Antique Carl Zeiss Microscope with Solid Brass/Bronze Frame. Steampunk Display!?
WITH OVER 12 YEARS ON EBAY& 100% Positive Feedback. You Can Bid With Confidence! No Reserve! Hi There! Welcome: You are bidding on: A Wonderful Antique"Carl Zeiss- Jena- Germany. Nr. 181594, Marked Microscope, Made in Germany, with it's Double Sided, Swiveling& Rotating Mirror, Top Eyepiece, and 3 lenses. Lenses are marked as follows Lens 1. 1/12" Carl Zeiss Jena 43691 HI 90 1.25" and Lens 2. D Carl Zeiss Jena 49254 40 0.65 0.17" and Lens 3. A Carl Zeiss Jena 54994* 0.2" Eyepiece is marked"Carl Zeiss Jena 10x" Condition: A used scope. But NOT as it appears to me to ever have been used as a"School, Scope. This one has far less wear& tear on it than those typically do. That said, It does have some signs of normal use, including some finish discoloration and loss, this is partially due ... moreto the fact that this Great Scope's Factory Finish is- in part- clear lacquer over an Unusually Heavy SOLID Brass/Bronze Stand or Frame. The lacquer over-coat often get's discoloration over time in spots and patches from human handling. But these areas can be buffed out to an absolutely fantastic- incredible"Golden, shine or even a mirror polish if you want to take the time to do that. Scope works. Focus and Fine Focus work, Mirror spins and revolves, Diaphragm blades open and close easily and look very good, lower stage goes up and down smoothly, tilt works fine, turret revolves just fine. M issing are the 2 hold down pins. To hold a glass slide in place, but these are usually long gone from these Antique Scopes. Side screws for adjustments on either side of the table maybe bent from falling over, or may have come that way, as they match pretty well( I am not sure how perfect any of the lenses are. But at this point in it's life, this Lovely Scope is pretty much definitely going to a Collector/Buyer for Display Only anyway, which brings me to a Main $$$$ Selling Point. Someone else on Ebay has what looks to me to be The Same Model Carl Zeiss Microscope. Differen

Antique 1920's CARL ZEISS JENA microscope camera outfit in wood box!
Here's an antique microscope camera outfit. Made by Carl Zeiss of Jena, Germany, probably in the 1920's, for making 4.5 x 6 cm exposures on glass plates or cut film. Please don't ask me to explain more about it or how it works because my knowledge of microscopy is rudimentary at best. I probably only know enough to be"dangerous" Whatever, you can see it for yourself, and although untested and I don't know how to operate the shutter(if it works at all after nearly a century) it appears to be in a very nice state of preservation, featuring clean bright viewing system, some sort of dedicated objective in its own little black metal storage tube, a pair of perfect original plate holders, a graduated exposure scale for test exposures, and an additional mask for making round exposures, all nicely protected in the original ... moreheavy duty wood outfit case. Very cool! Look at the pics below.it's a fascinating piece of vintage Zeiss technology! Postage is totally free to anywhere in the United States, but international buyers will be required to pay the actual cost of shipping this 5 pound 14 ounce package to their location by USPS Priority Mail. I'm sorry, in the United States we are legally obligated to use Priority Mail for international shipments weighing over 4 pounds.
