On the microscope you will find the 1.9mm. Oil Imm 1/12 1.32 16mm, and 4mm 0.65 objectives and 10 eyepiece. In the box, there is a 16mm 0.25 objective in the storage tube, 4mm and 1.9mm storage tubes for objectives, a 2 eyepiece taht seems too large for this microscope, a 5 eyepiece and an extra 10 eyepiece. The condition is excellent. With a tiny bit of paint chipping and oxidation here and there. All parts move smoothly and the knobs and aperture work as they should. An old Bausch& Lomb Microscope. It is made of Brass& Iron. It is 11 1/2" tall. It weighs 7 pounds. The appearance of the microscope is very good. The brass column does not raise up and down when the side wheels are turned. The left side turning knob is bent. It has been stored for many years. Here's really nice BAUSCH& LOMB Antique Microscope that has its Original Wood Case. I don't collect microscopes. But mainly collect and sell radios. I bought this at a Radio Swap in Michigan about 6 years ago, because of its excellent condition and impressive look. I can tell you what I know. Engraved on one of the feet is Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester, N.Y. On the base at the top rear is stamped 36832. The base appears to be Solid Brass with some kind of Bone or Ivory Locking Adjustment Arm/Handle. It has 3 Objective Lens, which are marked(1) 1mm, 1/12, 1.32 N.A. 160.0mm Tube Length, 2) 2/3, 0.24 N.A. 160.0mm Tube Length, and(3) 4mm, 0.65, 43x, 2/3. The Microscope is stamped Pat. Feb. 16. 1897. There 2 Eye Pieces which are marked 1. The Objective Lens have Storage Containers, with the size stamped on top, and seem to ... morematch the lens. Everything appears to be in good shape and operates and moves smoothly. Case appears to be Mahogany, locks and has the Key. I don't know a lot, but will try to answer any questions you may have. Patent date refers to the 1897 patent#588.689, a copy of which is attached. Scales are graduated in millimeters. Index blocks are"vernier-style" 10 graduations over 9 mm. The logo area is plainly visible. Tiny chips. Scratches& flakes in the lacquer all-over. The slide or object-holding arm is in tact. Everything operates as intended. Both arms travel easily on dovetailed ways over their entire range. This is not my area of expertise. The serial number is 38602. one of the slide holders is missing. The eye piece is marked with a"2" and there is an extra one in the slide out drawer marked"1" There are also 3 empty canisters. There is some damage to the door area of the wood case. I do not have the key and the lock is stuck open.

1927 ANTIQUE BAUSCH & LOMB STEREOSCOPIC DISSECTIING WIDE FIELD MICROSCOPE
Serial number 196858 which indicates the microscope was manufactured in 1927. This is a general purpose. Microscope used for three-dimensional viewing in biology(sometimes referred to as a dissecting scope) assembly and inspection in industry, etc. This type of binocular microscope was first designed by Greenough in 1897, and was first manufactured by Zeiss. It consists of two independent microscopes with erecting prism systems focused on the same object from slightly different angles to give an exaggerated stereoscopic view. Because of the inclinations of the optical axis of the two microscopes from the vertical, only the center of the field is in focus for both, however, the composite image appears sharp over the entire field due to the opposite nature of the focusing errors, the accommodation of the eye, and the great depth of view of ... morethe low power objectives.Coin not included.

For your consideration is a beautiful. Brass, Bausch and Lomb microscope. We are not microscope experts, but it appears complete and in very good condition. It has a bit of the surface enamel missing from the stage(pictured) and the locking mechanism on the original mahogany wood case does not work- I believe it just needs a magnet to be replaced to function properly. Overall, though, this rare antique microscope and case are in very good condition. Estimated age- unknown. patent Dec 1 08- 1908 Revolving two lens. 4mm and 16mm. Both work. Serial number 179892 which indicates the microscope was manufactured in 1924. This is a general purpose. Microscope used for three-dimensional viewing in biology(sometimes referred to as a dissecting scope) assembly and inspection in industry, etc. This type of binocular microscope was first designed by Greenough in 1897, and was first manufactured by Zeiss. It consists of two independent microscopes with erecting prism systems focused on the same object from slightly different angles to give an exaggerated stereoscopic view. 2 Antique Brass Adjustable Bausch & Lomb Optical Microscope/Camera Lens
Here are two antique brass Bausch& Lomb optical lenses. We have no idea what these are used for but thought a microscope or camera. Hopefully you will know! The larger one stands 5 1/8" high and is a tad over 2 1/2" around the largest area. It is marked with"Bausch& Lomb Optical Rochester N.Y. 518011" The smaller one stands 4" high and is about 2" across the widest area. It is marked with"Bausch& Lomb Optical Rochester N.Y. 480236" They both are in need or parts or repair and a good polishing. Both are missing lenses at the bottom end or at least some other piece. The larger one adusts upwards but you have to push it back down by hand. There is green showing through and/or wear to the black finish/paint portion at the top. The smaller one. You cannot adjust, the pin to the wheel seems to ... morebe frozen but you can manually pull it downwards. There is also some black paint/finish wear plus there is what looks like solder at that bottom rim. We are selling these the way we received them. Unfortunately we do not know much about them but hopefully you can see their condition with the photos. The larger one seems to be in very good condition while the smaller one needs more work!

This is a very solid microscope weighing in at a hefty 10 pounds. This was always kept as a display piece on my father-in-laws mantel. I'm not sure of the functionality as a working microscope.I imagine all the lenses would need to be cleaned up/polished if you were going to actually use it. I am pleased to offer this old and original. Bausch& Lomb microscope or other scientific optical device. This instrument was sold by Arthur H Thomas Co. Philadelphia. Scope is in good condition, but does need some attention, and may not be complete. It looks like it is missing its lens or eyepiece. Please note that one bed adjustment knob works smoothly and properly. The other is extremely hard to move. It may only need oil, or it may require more work. The silver on the mirror is diseased and likely will need replacement. The height is approximately 13" tall. The base measures about 5 1/4" by 6 1/4" It weighs 9.5 pounds. The top section is painted brass as is the bed adjustment knobs, bed and mirror frame. The frame looks to be cast iron. I cleaned this piece very quickly. It needs a thorough cleaning. Here is a great older metal microscope from Bausch& Lomb for your buying consideration. Recently picked it up at an auction. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself! The Bausch& Lomb microscope scope and the lens and objective case and dials are made of metal. The black painted part of the microscope stand is in very good shape. The eye lenses are a 5x and 10x. Nice slide guide that would hold the specimen for smooth movement across the working area. An extra Spencer piece that would go down near the mirror. There are no dates noted on the microscope or accessories. The serial number of 16033-185 is on the microscope. The microscope is probably from the mid 1920s to early ... more1930s. The mirror at the bottom of the scope is two sided. Not cracked or blistered, the mirrored surface does show some wear(loose from stand) The glass for the lens and objective are dusty and may have some minor scratching. I see no blistered cracked or missing glass in the lenses or objectives. The microscope is 12.5" tall. By 7" across, by 9" wide. Nice what appears to be the original wood case. The wood case is intact, still has its' lock, and the key that works it. There is a slide drawer holding all the eye lenses and then a drawer on the right side that has nothing in it but holes to hold some accessories. There is also a metal box the has a blue shade that is electrified. Also a plastic cover that can be put over the microscope when it is out of the case. The objectives are a Spencer 2x. 8(2) a B&L 10X and a B&L 43x. Handle is still on the top of the case. Great etching into the metal body and plate of the name of the company. Vintage Antique 1908 Jug Handle model Bausch & Lomb Co Microscopes with Case
Very cool early Jug Handle 1900's Bausch and Lomb Microscope with variable light adjustment. There are 3 eye pieces with this microscope and all are in good condition but need cleaning. The microscope stands just at 14 inches tall when focused on an image. etc. All knobs are smooth and it is an operating microscope that can be used still. I was amazed when I put a pre prepared slide on it and adjusted the mirror for the light to come through. It lit up the subject great. A light filter on this one that adjusts to control the amount of light coming through the subject slide. Please not that the case is missing the lock mechanism and the top of the wood box has been broken and re-glued. It still looks great though with the microscope. Also there are 3 eye pieces one is on the microscope. There are also 3 screw top metal containers marked ... morewith the company logo but there is nothing in them. The name of the manufacturer is boldly identified on the triple position rotating objective and three smaller objectives. There is the inscription on the right side of the horseshoe foot as follows: Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester. N.Y” see image) and on the left side is"Arthur H Thomas Co. Philadelphia" Both inscriptions are very faint. A brass medallion found on the rear of the foot provides us with the serial number of the instrument. 65202” see close-up image) At the base of the body tube is a B&L triple position rotating objective nosepiece equipped with the following B&L objectives: 16mm. 4mm and 1.9mm When the graduated drawtube is depressed into the body tube and the body tube is fully racked ... moredown to its lowest position. This is a stunning original antique Bausch and Lomb Optical Co. Brass microscope made for Temple University in 1915#82. it comes with is original 1915 handmade box which is nicely dovetailed together. It is fastened with a pivoting handle at the top. A lock which has a key and does work, a mount on the bottom to hold the microscope, and original wood sliding holders at the top. The microscope is in very nice condition and all the components work accordingly. it is an extremely heavy piece and measures 11 inches tall by 7 inches by 4 inches. the box is also in nice antique condition and has acquired a lovely patina from age.measures 15 1/2 by 7 by 8 1/2 inches. it is a very nice quality set the only piece missing it the top eye piece but can be purchased right here on ebay. VINTAGE ANTIQUE JUG HANDLE MODEL BAUSCH & LOMB CO. MICROSCOPE WITH CASE
I happen to own a very cool and keenly designed early Jug Handle 1900's Bausch and Lomb Microscope with variable light adjustment mirror on the bottom that can be flipped to amplify light even more. As you can tell there is only one top focal piece which does not seem to be removable or stationary at any position but can easily be raised or lowered. The lower magnifiers are easily switched by turning the mechanism either to the right or left. At present the microscope sits a 11.5 inches but can as high as 14 inches. The items seems to never have been professionally polished and has what appears to be blued iron with brass. The item could clean up really well if you are into that sort of thing. All knobs are smooth and appears to be operational. I have peered down through the whole but have not tried to focus in on anything currently. ... moreBut I can see that there are no major obstructions to doing so. Below the platen, is an aperture control such as the shutter on a camera. It seems to be functional, but is a bit bent slightly at the closed position from a bit of misuse or old age. The Case- Seems to be the original case and is made purely out of some kind of hard wood but can not be totally for sure. If you look closely at the finish. It seems to have set out in a moist area for some time and allow the case to mildew which has dicolored the varnish a bit. Looking at the front, it appears that there is a small label that says Microscope, yet is hard to make out. Some clown, at some time, decided that he'd be a wise guy and appeared to have slightly carved a larger spelling of Microscope on to the wood but is barely noticeable, but I wanted to mention that. The lock mechanism seems to be intact but there is no key. Baucsh& Lomb must have been in Rochester. NY because I can see it on the lower magnifying lenses which also can be removed for examination or replacement. Inside the case. There seems to be some kind of area that would hold more lenses, but I am not able to remove or jar the wood holder away from

For sale is an antique Bausch& Lomb Optical Company Microscope. Complete with original wooden case/box. Microscope seems in good condition other than some discoloration of the brass. Knobs rotate easily, turret section rotates. Bottom mirror is not blackened, lenses work. Microscope is marked"pat. Feb. 16 1897" on top adjusting knob. Comes with 2 eye pieces marked 10& 7.5. Believe this is a medical type microscope. Comes with original wood box which is in fair condition. Structurally intact, but with a fair amount of nicks& bumps. Do not have the key for the lock on front and there are some paint smudges on it. Inside box is in good condition. Has sliding"drawers" for holding lenses or other vials which are in good condition, slide out& removable& replaceable easily. Comes with one metal vial that held ... morea type of oil which appears to have congealed. But holder still interesting and possibly reusable. Has handle on top& marked"from Edward Pennock Optical and Other Scientific Instruments" with his address. Coming from a smoke free home. This Spencer Lens Co. 1900 Microscope has a Brass Body and a Cast Iron Base. The only large part that is magnetic is the base. The eye piece is 8X. And the bottom lens is a Bausch& Lomb 2/3 Series 1, 25 NA. The Patent was given on December 11, 1900 with the date that the Microscope was made was August 28, 1906. The microscope is about 11 5/8" in height. The base is about 5 7/8" deep with the width of about 4 3/16" I found this microscope at an estate of a Dr. from Illinois. Surface wear to the body of the Microscope is minimal, with only isolated scratches on the black painted surfaces. We rate the overall condition of the Microscope as very good. Antique American Agriculturist Orange Judd Bausch & Lomb Field Microscope w/ Box
This auction is for an antique field microscope. Made by the Bausch& Lomb co. for the Orange Judd"American Agriculturist" magazine. The American Agriculturist magazine offered this microscope, which could be used to examine seeds, find adulterants in food and identify insects by the readers of the magazine. Orange Judd(1822-1892) was a chemist, editor and publisher of the magazine. It has 3 working lenses, which are marked B&L Co. and it measures just 2 1/8" tall. Microscope is complete and in great condition with no breaks. The box has wear and labeled on the top as shown. The photos show it well. I will be happy to combine multiple purchases to save on shipping. I found the following paragraph by doing a brief internet search. In 1877. The American Agriculturist announced that every subscriber could receive a microscope ... morewith their 1878 subscription for an additional 40 cents. Non-subscribers could purchase the microscope for $1.50. The publisher claimed that 125.000 of these hard rubber stand, 3 lens microscopes were manufactured for the 1878 mailing. This model, especially with its original cardboard box, is highly sought by collectors. Unlike the great variety of“household” and small drum microscopes which were being imported from France in the 1870's, The American Agriculturist microscope was made in America and designed by Bausch& Lomb. Which may explain its interest to U.S. collectors.

What a great find. Looks like a beautiful museum piece. For it's age I would say condition is decent. Microscope moves and appears to function but the lens are dirty and need to be cleaned. To be fully functional I would believe it needs a good thorough cleaning/ oiling ect. It appears to be mostly complete. Pictures show the different lens and eyepieces that are included. The wooden case has some wear. It has a crack on one side but is still solid and working. The lock is broken and appears the key broke off inside of it. For this item please inspect and study the images as they are your best description. There should be no need for returns but as an antique item like this it sells for AS IS.
