Excellent vintage condition. Absolute no damage to the glass. For safety reasons the wiring and bulb sockets have been replaced. I kept the original sockets also and they will be delivered with the lights. Each lamp has now got a new E14 size socket. For use in the US you have to buy two socket reducers E14 to E12(Candelabra base) They can be bought on Ebay for little money. The shades are marked Holophanes. XE-40 some are also marked patented 1912. This Uno shadeholder style was used 1912 and into the 20's. Some of the Holophanes have flea bites on the ribs no worse than the ones pictured by my fingers. I don't sell items that are obviously damaged but I am not going to document every little flaw-these items are old and used but in good recondition. These sconces were designed to fit over a sink or vanity. This wall lamp has been washed, paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 5 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces stick out about 10 1/2 inches, they are about ... more16"wide and 10" top to bottom. They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are circle F NOS(new old stock) porcelain fat boy sockets-that work well with a crisp click. Easy installation ready, the mounting hardware has been upgraded with ground. Look closely at the pictures, there are minor dings-these are not new. They were found in a fallen-down cabin up in the U. P. West of Marquette, MI hear Big Bay. One set was around a small window. the other set was attached to what looked like the remains of a pine wreath; wires are obviously not usable, just remains, but the sockets look as though they could be re-attached& restored for whatever purpose you would want, such as for sconce replacement parts, etc. Believed to be near 100 years old! 12 sockets total, 8 sockets on one strand& 4 on the other strand; they are green colored, see pictures.

They are made of some thin me tal. I don't know what, they are not as heavy as the brass ones we have found before. The will need new wiring. These are a beautiful pair of original Art Deco slip shade sconces. Very nice detailed design in shades and sconce holders. The finish on the the back plates looks to be original and is great shape but could use some cleaning. The detailed shades are beautiful with the original orange highlights and are in great shape. There is a teeny sliver chip on the side of one shade near the fitter(barely noticable only mentioned for accuracy) and a thin line on the fitter tab of the other one that is not seen when shade is in fitter. See pictures. The electrical and switches do work but they have cloth wiring and should be checked by a professional or rewired. See picture of one of the sconces lighted. Hollywood Regency / Art Deco Black & Silver Chandelier Vintage Lighting Fixture
We recently went to an auction that had great 1880s-1930s lighting fixtures. Lamps, etc. We know that some of them came from west central Ohio homes that were built during Ohio's railroad boom(most people don't think of Midwest railroad barons, but we had'em) We'll be listing these over the next couple of weeks. This black and silver chandelier is Hollywood Regency by way of Art Deco. It's footprint isn't large. So it won't overwhelm a room, but it will be a focal point. The fixture's about 12" in diameter. It hangs down about 27. Great size for dining areas. Living rooms, salons. The chain has a lovely symmetrical/asymmetrical interlude of flowers within an oval. Please see the pictures. Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. Up for sale is a lovely pair of old decorative electric wall sconce lights. Although not certain what the metal type is. The base metal is gray in color with a brass-colored coating.which has oxidized some over time which I believe adds to their overall timeless character. There is some finish loss. They would extend approximately 11" from the wall. The decorative mount is approximately 5 1/4" in diameter while the globe mount measures approximately 4 1/2" Would like to bring to your attention that one decorative leaf is missing from the bottom of one of the sconces as shown in photo#5. Under close examination the very tip of the remaining decorative leaf shown within the same picture may be missing its tip. Vtg 50s Signed Matte Gold Swag Crystal Prism 3 Way Hanging Electric Chandelier
Vintage 1950s Swag Ceiling Hanging Glass Prism Gold Finish Electrical Lamp Chandelier signed by designer. I cannot make out the signature on this lamp but I took pictures of it for you to figure out who might have made it. It is in almost excellent vintage condition with its only major flaw is that one of the glass/crystal prisms metal tie down is missing as seen in my pictures with arrow. This isn't noticeable though because when it is hanging the strand hangs down straight. Also. The chandelier is in its original condition I found it in at the estate sale and needs to be cleaned up more. I haven't the clue to what to clean it with and I'm going to leave that up to you but it really isn't all that dirty just a little dusty. This chandelier does work and is a 3 way system. You will have to get light bulbs for it because they ... moreare not included. I really don't feel safe shipping with bulbs. It is a really nice piece that has a great art deco look without being too frilly. As far as wiring goes I do know that the item works as seen in the pictures without any glitches but I have no idea if it is up to code with todays standards. Due to its age you might want to have it rewired to be on the safe side or just leave it like it is. I would use it like it is if it was mine and feel safe with it but not all people are a like. It measures: about 22 1/2 inches tall by 10 1/2 inches wide and 10 1/2 inches deep. It weighs almost 11 pounds unpacked. Please remember vintage items do not have warranties. Antique Art Deco Ceiling 5 Light Chandelier Polychrome Paint Fleur-De-Lis
Antique Art Deco Cast Aluminum 5-Socket Ceiling Light Fixture/Chandelier. Fleur-De-Lis Design, Original Polychrome Paint The ceiling light retains the original wiring in very good condition. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. Glass Ceiling Light globe fixture Antique/vintage 12" Hand painted 10" fitter
This is a vintage 1915-1925 hand painted glass ceiling light globe in wonderful condition. The exterior has been hand painted with a rural scen e. One side depicts a farm setting with house and barn with trees; the opposite sho ws a road curving through trees. The two scenes are separated by water with a likeness of a sail boat on the surface and hills in th e distant background. The glass itself is frosted over a co arse surface that reminds one of ice-chipped glass. The paint has no loss and the colors are rich and vibrant still. There is one thin fitter c hip that barely breaks the surface of the edge and would never show. The globe about 12"W X 6-6.5" H with a 10" fitter. Vintage Hanging School House Light Milk Glass
This vintage school house light fixture was removed from a school in North Carolina. Glass shade is in great condition. No chips or cracks, globe is 12" at the widest part and 8" high. Fixture has an 18" drop from ceiling to shade making the overall height from ceiling to bottom of glass approx. 26" Globe has very nice shape, slightly different than the usual school house light. The fixture part is an antique golden tone. Newer porcelain light socket in good shape and rewired with new clear wire. There is some ceiling paint on the top edge of the fixture(can be seen in the picture) where it was mounted at the ceiling. 10 Arm Brass Chandelier Vintage/Antique
Up for Auction Vintage/Antique 10 arm brass chandelier. It is missing one of the electrical covers. Some drywall/texture on item, arms are a little loose, there are holes for the crystals and an electrical sticker, the center decorative crystal holders has one loose one, some wear and tear due to age. I am not sure how old it is but the wiring is definitily old style. I have only given it a gently cleaning, I leave the rest up to the experts. Note the beautiful work on the chain. Sterling Bronze Company Antique Wall Sconces
Antique wall sconces from the early 20th century(Remains Lighting Company of New York has estimated the age to be circa 1900-1910) These are a pair of solid brass wall sconces from the famous"Sterling Bronze Company" of New York. Late 1800's- early 1900's. They are Baluster form. Double light sconces in their original finish. They have fluted arms and turned wax pans/ candle cups. Their approximate dimensions are. Height 17 1/4" width 10 3/4" depth 6 1/4" Their weight is approximately 7 pounds each(total 14 pounds) They are in very good condition. But there is some wear that you would expect from an antique. Their patina is slightly worn in some areas. There are a few random paint"sprinkles" from a house repaint in the 1960's. The back side of one of the sconces is missing the back wall hook/holder ... moreand as a solution to hanging the sconce safely, a small hole was drilled at the top of the sconce to hang it on the wall securely(see picture) Rewiring the wall sconces would also be advisable, although they were in working condition when they were last attached to the wall before removal. These beautiful solid brass wall sconces came from an eleven bedroom mansion located along the Historic Main Line in Rosemont Pennsylvania. The architect of this mansion was Frank H. Furness(1839-1912) Acclaimed American Architect of The Victorian Era. I had these wall sconces appraised by Ball and Ball. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. Old Art Deco Nouveau Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER w/ 5 Orig Globes
For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. I have up for auction this super nice find. This piece was found in an old estate that I cleaned out. This piece is super awesome and guaranteed old. The is all metal with leafe designs that are all painted cream. Then there is a mirrored back with the light bulb that sticks out. Then on the light bulb are all glass beads that are tied around the light bulb which you can remove when the light bulb burns out. Then all along the perameter of the piece are super great solid glass or crystal tiered round ball prisms. They are all there and the piece is in good shape for its age. The mirror does have some light crazing which is on the back side but just great authentic patina to the piece. The piece measures about 10" in diameter at the widest point. THIS GREAT UPSTATE NEW YORK ESTATE FIND IS A CAST IRON WALL SCONCE MEASURING 9 3/4" TALL X 4 3/4" WIDE AND 4 3/4" OUT FROM THE WALL. I BELIEVE THIS TO BE ABOUT 1920s. ON THE BACK IS A NAME I CAN'T QUITE MAKE OUT. THE IMAGES SHOW MOST OF THE NAME BUT I DON'T KNOW WHATS MISSING, MAYBE SOMEONE CAN TELL ME. THERE IS ALSO A NUMBER THAT LOOKS LIKE"C#1957" I'M SURE ITS MUCH OLDER THAN 1957 SO THAT MUST BE A MODEL NUMBER. ITS A POUNDED CAST IRON GOTHIC WALL PLATE WITH A PULL SWITCH THAT WORKS GOOD.
