3 Victorian Electric Brass Wall Sconces Early 1900's
Set of three wall sconces. These were early electric and the shade holder shows dates from the 1890's. One of the three has be refinished and rewired. All ready to go! Two of them need some polishing. The only thing I see missing are the set screws for two shade holders. The conical wall mount is 5 inches in diameter and the distance from the wall is 10 1/2 inches.

Up for sale is a lovely pair of old decorative electric wall sconce lights. Although not certain what the metal type is. The base metal is gray in color with a brass-colored coating.which has oxidized some over time which I believe adds to their overall timeless character. There is some finish loss. They would extend approximately 11" from the wall. The decorative mount is approximately 5 1/4" in diameter while the globe mount measures approximately 4 1/2" Would like to bring to your attention that one decorative leaf is missing from the bottom of one of the sconces as shown in photo#5. Under close examination the very tip of the remaining decorative leaf shown within the same picture may be missing its tip. vtg antique lot of 4 Riddle metal electric wall sconces 1 & 2 arms shield motif
Hi up for sale is lot of 4 antique cast metal wall sconces. There are 2 with two arms and 2 with one arm. They have a shield like motif. The double armed ones are 9 1/2" tall at the center part. And about 9 1/2" across. They stick out 3 1/4" the paper socket covers that look like candles are 5" tall, they have some wear. The single ones are 9 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" across. All have turn switches toward the bottoms, all have the hangers that the finials go through the centers, one is already attached in the pic. They are in good shape, have some finish wear. Marked Riddle Co Design Made in USA I can't authenticate this but the previous owner told me they came out of the John Deere House in Moline IL. 2 VINTAGE PAULDING PORCELAIN ART DECO BATHROOM WALL ELECTRIC LIGHT SCONCES
Here are 2 great 1930's art Deco porcelain wall sconce lights from Paulding. You will see in the pictures that they are in great condition. I have not tried to clean them and appear to be fully functional. The fastening screw is included and the pull chain porcelain end is also still intact. Very hard to find everything together. These also have the outlet on the bottom behind the pull chain. These can be wired 250v 10amp or 125v 15 amp. I have had some questions about the wiring so I have included 2 more pictures. Here is a group of 3( actually a matching 3 arm pair& a separate 5 arm) very high quality& ornate wall lights. The old mica insert sockets. Which are stamped EDISON PATENTS on ther covers. Are embossed WEBER on the bakelite twisters. And.The sockets, which date these sconces to the late 19th century, seem to be in good condition. All the sockets have their original 3 1/4" shade fitters in place except for 1 which is missing from the 5 arm wall light. The 5 arm wall light has spread of about 15" the 2 matching 3 arm wall lights a spread of 13" These lights are heavy and are all solid brass. Each has an ornate& beautifully cast husk covering its socket. It is very difficult to find three matching vintage wall sconces with the craftsmanship evident in these. Ca. 1920's matched pair of double candle Victorian Gothic electric wall sconces
Another of my"absolute auctions" 99 cent start& no dreaded reserve. BARN FRESH" from Alabama(really) I did evicted the spiders(and other critters) However(comma) these have not been cleaned. Not rewired, not tested. nice and dusty with all the"original" dirt, spider webs, roach poop& patina included! These are real"Adam's Family" or the Munster's) decor. VERY COOL. Herman Munster would be proud to own these! Lots of 80- 90 year old original paint left on these fellows(see photos) No notable damage to the main support structure on these nice lamps(you will need to find a good mounting bolt for the center hole(see photos) The main structure is a cast metal. It is not cast iron as the metal is not magnetic. The"tin" bobeches(wax catchers) are bent/banged-up a bit. easily corrected ... moreby the proud new owner. The sockets are dirty. But may be OK once cleaned up. I would highly recommend rewiring these lamps. I usually do this before listing lamps/electrical items, however, I'm getting a bit lazy lately. The nickel finish is in good condition but shows minor tarnishing. The patent date on the back side is March 3, 1925(photo 10) The wiring is modern, and they have very unique rotary switches in the form of an acorn. The switches work correctly. The paper candles are original and I was torn between replacing them or painting them, but decided to leave them as is and the new owner can decide whether to replace them or paint them to match their own décor. The sconces have been tested(photo 12) and work correctly. Bulbs are not included. The sconces are 13-1/2" high to the top of the candles. 4-3/8" wide, and they project 3-3/4" ... morefrom the wall(wall plate to front of shade) They use a candelabra style bulb. One matched pair of vintage ornate candlestick electric sconces with original bronze finish and paint. Looks to be cast iron. Highly detailed and in fantastic condition. Very delicate working pull chain switch on both units still functions. Includes orange flame bulbs. Cloth covered wire is still in like new condition and is not bare or cracked but may need to be upgraded to be safe. Slight paint remains on edges of lamps where they meet the wall in cream and light green. No scratching or chipping. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! Each unit measures 10 inches long. Width is over 5 inches and extends into the room over 6 inches. I love these but I own a 1970's ranch home!

Up for your consideration is a great antique pair of wall sconces. They have faces on each one and have a design that looks like a rope on each arm. These lights need to be hardwired. They all have pull chains. However one is not the original. The one shows wear on the back plate. They measurer back plate4 1/2" in diameter. from arm to arm 4 3/4" from top of light to bottom of arm 6 1/2" Because many of my items are estate/vintage items. They are aged and may contain flaws. They are both marked English Made Duplex lamps but the knobs do not turn. They are missing their chimneys but they are easily replaced. Vtg Pair Bronze Wall Sconces/2 Large Nautical Sailing Lights/Electric Lamps
Two vintage Nautical themed wall sconces. Vintage light fixtures decorated with sailing ships. Seashells and what looks like sea weed. Each sconce has five candle stick lights on top and a single socket lamp on the bottom. Half of an original sticker is still on the back of the sconce being photographed- all I can make out is'Brotherhood of Electricians. Cannot say for sure whether these sconces are made of bronze or brass. They are heavy. With each fixture weighing over 12 lbs. Sconces measure approximately 22" tall and 16" wide. Both sconces need to be re-wired. Fixture photographed was partially upgraded years ago. Green patina on the back of sconce shows it has copper content. Please see my other vintage item listings.

Vintage Late 1950's Porcelain Wall Sconces By Thomas Industries Electric Fixture
A pair of ceramic wall sconces manufactured in the late 1950's based on the name of the company Thomas Industries Inc. and the UL number. They have a one bolt opening for mounting and the original brass fittings are included with only one. On my way to take photos of the shades I accidentally broke one shade. It will be included with your purchase along with the two pieces of the shade that broke out. The other shade is perfectly fine. The overall height with the shade is 13 inches. The top of the shade and the base width are 4 3/4 inches and the base is 7 1/4 inches including the finial. Just to make it clear the two fixtures are fine with some paint on the edges as noted in the photo. One shade is fine and the other is broken but still look at the photo and see it. Offered for sale are these wonderful electric wall sconces that are made out of Chrome with Brass accents. I do not know the exact age of the sconces but they are in very nice condition however old they are. And were used very little if not at all. Great detail to the Brass top that supports the faceted prisms. The prisms are overall very good shape-you may find a very small flea bite out of the bottoms as is common with these types of prisms.There are 16 prisms on each sconce and when illuminated they cast a beautiful light in the room. These would be fantastic in a formal powder bath or master bathroom. The prisms will be removed for shipping and will need to be put back on by the new owner.
