This antique light was acquired at a demo sale in Cape May New Jersey. It is a three tier crystal prism entry ceiling fixture. Brass needs to be polished has pitting and two crystal drops are missing and one only has one crystal. Measures 12 inches top to bottom and is 9 inches wide. Original screw caps are included. It has marks inside however difficult to read. I believe it has new wiring?

The shade is surrounded by a fantastic ring of lattice. And this is burnished gold. The lattice ring is an impressive piece of casting. It’s hard to get an open mesh like this. All those little openings have to be drilled smooth after casting. Above are more lovely and intricate components. The fixture is not large(12-inches wide) And is intended for a foyer, bath, or special nook. BEFORE YOU GET EXCITED: This beauty has a flaw. Alas! The bell shade has a wide glass flange on top. This is badly damaged and someone used some sort of bonding putty on it(see last image) Thankfully. You can’t see this from below. But…there is a curvy crack that snakes down the side of the shade(see second-to-last image) All of the images show the damaged side of the shade. Except for the close-up, you can see how the crack is not readily noticeable(even less so when the fixture is lighted) The crack is stable. Wholly restored and with a new socket and cloth-covered wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! Art Noveau Painted Floral Glass Ceiling Hall Light Lamp Fixture Solid Brass Base
This fixture has a very attractive painted floral design in the Art Noveau style. It is an original antique. And the base is also orignal solid brass. The brass base has been polished and coated with a clearcoat to prevent tarnishing. The clearcoat can be easily removed if tarnishing is desired. The base is wider than today's electrical boxes, and may need to be installed using two screw expansion connectors, which are supplied. The shade is pink on the top. And white on the bottom. It is approx. 7" diameter at the widest point. There are no cracks in the shade, and the only chip is along the top edge, where it inserts into the brass base(and is covered by the base when installed. The shade has normal soiling and fading for its age, see pictures for details, but is in overall very good condition and the wear does not detract from ... morethe lamp when installed. VINTAGE 1920's 1930's FLUSH BRASS FROSTED EMBOSSED GLASS SHADE HANGING HALL LIGHT FIXTURE A very lovely old. 1920's to 1930's, hanging light fixture that would be used in a hallway, foyer, or small room. It is a brass fixture with a glass shade and has a dangling finial at the bottom. The glass shade is frosted with areas with flowers, and leaves, that are clear. It still has the old porcelain socket and wiring, but I don't know if it will work because I haven't tried it(I don't see why it wouldn't) This fixture will hang down from the ceiling approximately 11" to the bottom of the dangling finial) and the ceiling cap is about 5 5/8" in diameter. It is in very good condition with no bends or breaks to the brass and no chips or cracks to the glass. There is some wear to the finish, on the metal piece ... moreabove the finial, but everything still looks fine. It will probably need to be rewired.
