The bulb socket is original and it works well. The lamp is 5x5 inches at the top and 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches at the bottom. From the pendant at the bottom to the hanging ring it is 11 1/2 inches. It still has the old porcelain socket and wiring, but I don't know if it will work because I haven't tried it(I don't see why it wouldn't) This fixture will hang down from the ceiling approximately 11" to the bottom of the dangling finial) and the ceiling cap is about 5 5/8" in diameter. It is in very good condition with no bends or breaks to the brass and no chips or cracks to the glass. Foyer, or outside porch electrical lighting. Earth rich brown tone coloring. Has a beautuful marble like look to the slag glass, with real wood adorning the top, and silver or chrome adorning the glass. has a dark tone oak middle and cream white and oak toned glass multi tone color on the slag glass. Takes a regular sized light bulb. Measurements as best I can describe are: 11 in top to bottom of swag front. And 6 1/2 total inches from widest parts of side. Very ornate light fixture maybe from the 1960's or 1970's This will go great in any hallway or foyer and would also work well on any front or back porch This large lantern style light fixture has 4 thick beveled clear glass panels that are curved on both the top and bottom This all brass fixture has a wonderful antiqued brushed finish with a brass plated chain and brass ceiling cap(5-3/8" in diameter) and is made of good quality It's in good used condition with normal wear and has no damage to mention. If you look at the last pic though. You will see 2 half inch production blemishes in the form of horizontal lines. These ... morelook like cracks but I can assure you they are not, but are horizontal air bubbles. You will notice in the pic that they do not go all the way to the edge of the glass The fixture itself measures approximately 5-1/8" square x 19.75" in length with a 16" chain and ceiling cap making it a total length of about 35.75" The length can be changed by adding or removing links It's in good working condition.
